Heredia used to be a big team here in Costa Rica, but bad management during the last 15 years has made it to fall apart. In fact from 1921 to 1999 it was the team that had won more championships than anyone. The worst thing is it doesn´t look think this year we will be champions, financial problems and Saprissa & Alajuela (specially Alajuela), are always taking their best figures. At least Saprissa has payed for some of them. Yeah, we svck right now! We have no money and we give away our best players for miserable $50.000 to MLS, like Andy Herron and Michael Umaña. We will never be champions that way. When Alajuela & Saprissa play each other, first I want them both to loose at the same time, but thats impossible, so being realistic I think I have a little bit more of sympathy for Saprissa, because I like their new policy of using the players they produce instead of stealing players from the weaker teams. However I want to remind you, is a new policiy from Verga.rara's age, before they did the same thing Alajuela did, until they went broke.
