Isnt Sequiera more of a defender tho? So if it were up to me I would take out Badilla and put Sequiera there and put Fonseca in the midfield. I also don't think Nuñez is gonna go.

Has Winston Parks not been called up because he plays so far away in Russia or is his form poor at the moment?

Para mi, es clave para el contra-ataque de CR porque tiene la pura velocidad que Wanchope ha perdido, Gomez nunca ha tenido y que no existe hoy en dia en la mediacancha tica

Guima is also on record as saying that he won't be throwing caution to the wind anymore (specifically, with the big loss to Brazil that saw CR lose out on goal differential) but instead will be more cautious tactically.

That means he'll need speed on the counter even more.

Both... he is not even playing right now, he should have returned to CR this season.

Gomez is fast, dude, and one of the strongest players in concacaf IMHO, but we do need some other fast player in the midfield, another Bolaños, a lefty Bolaños is what we need, Alonso Solis is playing great with Saprissa and I think he deserves a spot in the NT, he is very technical but not that fast

In 1990 we lost 1-0 playing ultra-defensively vs Brazil, in 2002 we lost 5-2 playing a great game.... damm brazilians ! I am so glad we are not on their group this year

Costa Rica 1-0 Germany, in the first game!

El Puerto decided it was more important to win against Liberia than winning the semifinals, the result, Max Sanchez got injured in that game and couldn´t play yesterday, that was an important absence, plus Kurt Bernard played almost all the game last sunday and didn´t recover well, he got tired during the 2nd half of that game. Also I think small teams like Puntarenas don´t know how to play in big fields.

Right now I´m rooting for Brujas & Puntarenas, but if the final is between Saprissa and Alajuela, I´ll root for Saprissa.

It depends a lot on the team you play for.

an average player might get between $2000-$3000 per month in saprissa or alajuela, or maybe $500-$1000 in a minor team

A class A player in Alajuela and Saprissa earns between $10k & $15k monthly.

Wanchope was doing like $30k in Heredia, but I don´t know where did that money came frome. Some wealthy people of the province I heard.
