this fourm is dead i wanted info how ticos feel about their chances but nothing dead like their national team will be like in el cusca lol jk
Well, Costa Rica will likely need only a draw at the Cuscatlan, so their chances are still better than El Salvador's I think. Unless Costa Rica can't beat Guyana at home or El Salvador beats Mexico away.
Mexico playing their supplentes next qualifying dates.. also I heard they won't play in El Azteca too. Most likely draw.. but yea, ES wont win lol

Pura vida, maes! I'm in Costa Rica now and until at least April, and I want to know where I can buy tickets for La Sele online. I want to catch the next WC qualifier that's in Costa Rica, I'm pretty sure this friday we're playing El Salvador away, when's the next home game and where can I buy tickets online? Sorry, still working on my spanish, and all my google searches so far haven't born fruit. Let me know! Thanks in advance.
You should ask locals.. they usually know. They play Guyana next, but if they lose to El Salvador on Friday, then I doubt the game will be worth watching and well.. until April, you'll be relegated to watching local club matches heh. tbh, all of their games so far at home haven't even matched the other Central America venues in terms of atmosphere.. the new stadium in San Jose is nice and modern, but a very far cry from what Estadio Saprissa offered as a fun and passionate atmosphere. Hope you have fun.
Thanks for the info, man! On the brightside... we won! I think it will be worth going to the game, especially since I may be leaving in April. I think Los Ticos will be in good spirits and confident in this match v. Guyana having shown such a good display in San Salvador (We should've scored more). That said, if Ticos make it to the next round in hexagonal (or are we already automatically through?), does the next round start in April?
Costa Rica is basically through not mathematically yet but even losing against Guyana which I doubt will happen would still likely put the Tico's through. A win against Guyana would mean Costa Rica is officially through to the hex regardless of what happens in the Mexico El Salvador game
I still can't find a goddamn site to buy the tickets for the Costa Rica v. Guyana match en el Estadio Nacional. And all the Ticos I know don't know either lol. Any help?
This is the website the stadiums website links for sales http://laboleteria.co.cr/puntos-de-venta.html though I don't see the Guyana game listed. This is the number they have listed your best bet is to call them 2549-5030
