Stadium at Columbia U is just too close to Yankee Stadium where NYCFC plays. And transportation is not that great at Columbia as it involves a 1/2 mile walk from the subway. Also extremely small amount of stadium parking around. Parking on the streets is tough.

Cosmos are apparently announcing the stadium they'll be playing in this year later this week.

Yup, MLS definitely has a lot more recognition in the Queens presidents thoughts. She probably hasn't heard of the NASL.

Will this Queens president be able to overcome the community backlash the 1st time a stadium plan was floated (in Flushing)? My guess is that she is thinking about the Aqueduct racetrack for a possible stadium. There are plans to improve the area around Jamaica LIRR station. A new stadium at Aqueduct could could supplement those efforts (Jamaica LIRR and Aqueduct is a 10-15 min train ride away via Airtrain JFK->A-train).

Congrats guys. Having been to one of your games out in Hempstead playing in Coney Island is a much better fit. Plus should be fun in the summer!

Going to your opener so looking forward to that.

nycfc and ny cosmos should co-build and share a stadium in Brooklyn or Queens or Bronx

Why would they leave out the Brooklyn Italians?

Because it's all part of the cabal's plan, man. The Italians could be a superclub and win the CCL, but Garber and the lizard people who live under the Denver airport can't allow that to happen.

The Brooklyn Italians were a super club until Lucio some how got control of them. His problem he never had any money of his own. I am not even sure he loves the game. There was a time the guys with the club loved the game, and thought it was an honor to play and to coach for the club not now.

Thought the Islanders were moving back to Nassau or to Quebec?
