To me last night seemed to be another great performance from Corrales. Why was it a long time coming for such a methodical player?

Judging by the picture I am sure he really is kidding, he is in pursuit it looks like after being beat (again) and attempting to foul (again)

Can you give one reason why he's not good?

He's too slow, he can't pass, he has poor judgement, does not know how to close down an attacker coming at him--bad one versus one defending skills, poor positioning--does not know how to take away space.

Well someone already did give a reason that he was one or two steps behind all night. I think his speed might be an issue. I didn't pay attention that closely but other people seem to think so. Other than that he seemed fine to me. He didn't get Moored.

I was waiting for you to mention speed. I think he has great judgement. Its sad how people like you wont give certain players a chance, but Michael all the chances in the world. Am I right? In just the last two games you given up on Corrales, but Bradley can go over 1000 minutes without one assist and only one goal and be America's future. Amazing.

There's more to playing soccer than assists and goals, especially for a midfielder.

By your own criteria, Corrales is a horrible player.

Um Corrales is a defender, Bradley plays center mid. What other great center mid scored only one goal playing almost every game in a entire year?

Patrick Vieira only has 6 goals in over 100 caps
Andrea Pirlo has 6 in 44, butI think most of those are from free kicks.
Xabi Alonso has 1 in 40.
Gennaro Gattuso has only 1 in 56 games
Owen Hargreaves has none in 39 appearances.
Claude Makelele has never scored for the French National team in 65 matches.

There is a pretty decent list I'd say

More importantly, how did you manage to turn your own thread on Corrales into another rant about Bradley?

    Why are you surprised?

You asked a question about "great" center mids not scoring.

He gave an answer (a damn good one at that).

Isn't this thread on Corrales anyway?

    Owned!!!!!!!! ;-D

Anyway, not sure how he got picked on the team in the first place. In a country with a population of 303+ million, we can't field a decent left back? Oh well...
