Nobody cares about the financial struggles of one of the richest men in Europe. This guy should just stick to hiding in his mansion until this is over.
On one hand, yes I agree. I also doubt that clubs would just up and fold and never exist again. At least the clubs in tiers 1 and 2 of most leagues, and many further on down. But, on the other hand, football, and sport in general, is an escape for billions around the world.

Which is why this is all a bit ridiculous. It's not like Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi will become scientists or singers tomorrow. Everybody in top tier football will have to slow down on their greed a bit. FIAT have shut down most of their factories in europe due to the virus, those are 200.000 people earning in average in a month as much as a Juve star does in a minute. Maybe the Agnelli group will restructure the current plan of funding Juve with Fiat money and allow those workers to return to their jobs at full wages? I somehow doubt it.
German lockdown measures to continue until 20th of April Talks will be held at a later point as to if they will be modified after that. Goal is supposedly to have about half as many new infections at that point.
Really these people coming out with statements like this appear so completely out of touch. Like multi billion organisations are the only ones which are effected by cash flow. We get it, you’re losing money. The worrying thing is a lot of people who rely on monthly cheques are losing out as well. Who gives a shit if Juventus or any other football team need to introduce a 20% pay cut to survive.
These clubs are losing a lot of money but they don't employ A LOT OF people and most of their money goes to 20-30 people, the rest are normal wages. Their troubles shouldn't be ignored but certainly they shouldn't be a priority in this crisis.
You mean Juventus cut his salary by 3.8m. Not like he volunteered ... Which in all honesty, is not a whole lot. 12% haircut. I guess Juve are doing all right financially. Which brings me to a point, I wonder what is the cost of living of a Ronaldo , Messi and etc ... meaning without all frivolous spending.
Donate to what? To who? In what way would 2000 Euro help now? This is what i don't really understand. Money is irrelevant now. We need hands, and medical equipment.
This isn't a knock on Ronaldo. It's a knock on the tweet making it sound like it's voluntary. Which is as lame as it can be. I am a business owner ... will probably take a "pay cut" regardless. I had a few N95 masks and took it to my nearest Hospital. Even though my area isn't bad at the moment. So be quiet.
CR7 agreed to paycut. You can play possum with procentual side wise, but at the end he is giving 3M away. Which is substantial sum.
Apparently he didn't agree to anything, Juventus applied for the same thing Barca applied. A wage cut across the entire working staff of the club. Everybody got a wage cut, even the guy that folds the shirts.
Unless there’s a clause allowing them to do that, then he will have accepted the cut (his other option is to sue for beach if contract or treat the reduced pay as a repudiation breach of contract and bring it to an end, neither of which are likely to be in his interests at the moment).
Some NBA players are supposedly paying salaries of arena staff. That's worthy of some news. This is just bait news by some fan account just trying to gain followers.
