German Hockey League as well. Really cosidered going to a Euro match this season, but as soon as life returns to normal, it's something i definitely want to catch up on.

I live in Kosovo, what i like to call a "2nd world country" (or maybe 2.5 :D), shit health system and we are very isolated (very hard to get a visa to travel), the most isolated country in Europe due to politics, but that was a silver lining because we have 0 people infected until now.

We have great doctors and nurses but the health system is pretty broken (my mother and both my in laws work in medical fields) so i fear what will happen if/when we get over 1K infected.

I also almost died a couple of weeks ago due to the common flu lol. Don't want to go through that again!

A coworker of mine returned from a two-week European cruise which started and ended in Italy. Come Monday morning he was sterilizing our operating rooms 9-5.

Both employee health and management were aware of this.

    Mind boggling stuff.

I’m on immunosuppressants indefinitely, wife is pregnant and kid is two years old. F*ck knows who’s going for groceries in our house if shit hits the fan.

I never thought my epitaph would be “Here lies Umar, he told you going to Tesco’s could have waited”.

By the way: I got an E-Mail saying since "games were only postponed, there is currently no case of refund for your Euroleague tickets"

Which is also a reason why things are being postponed for now: An instant cancellation of events would have created a multimillion package of refunds for events which is probably currently being flipped over and over to find the right approach to it.

On one hand, I understand how the mass refunds would affect any business, I can't help but be cynical about it.

    It's all about the money.

Three NBA franchises apparently protested against the decision to suspend the League, one of them being the Knicks, because they've somehow always got to be part of everything bad about the League. The Warriors GM said "this will cost us millions of dollars".

Marc Cuban at least said there will be a payment plan set for the folks that will not be working in the arena while the League is suspended.

Quote from the Premier League statement earlier tonight "The welfare of players, staff and supporters is of paramount importance"

I wonder if they are gonna cancel it now.
