If you think that is bad.. Try being the governor of WA. WA was the first state to be a hotspot, yet he bent the curve a week ago, and shipped out 400 ventilators over the weekend to other states.. Yet, he gets no respect.

I’m sorry to hear that. If she’s on her way out, I wish her a quick trip surrounded by personnel who can help manage pain and provide her as much comfort as possible.

 

I'm talking about people *while they are in the hospital*. Their condition gets upgraded, family members make optimistic statements about how they're steadily improving; and then suddenly everything goes to shit and they die. It seems to be a common feature with COVID-19.

Of that, I certainly agree. I was just speaking to the idea that BoJo was all fine, but went to the hospital only to 'suddenly' take a turn for the worse the exact moment he walked through the door. He went to the hospital (almost certainly) because he was deteriorating at home. If he was recovering well at home (he was there for 10 days with the virus), he wouldn't have headed to the hospital in the first place.

 

If my house was a social isolation reality television show, I guarantee you that the world would need to adopt a 1 child policy to make sure the next generation had more than zero children.

This show would prevent more pregnancies than all forms of birth control combined. I (or rather, my children) could solve the climate crisis and ruin social security in a month.

 

To be fair, he has had daily press briefings...

 

This virus is completely predictable. In fact it was predicted. Heck, Bill Gates gave a TEDtalk about it.

 

I'd say the relationships that can't survive this quarantine were probably on shaky ground to begin with.

 

My wife and kid and I are doing surprisingly well, but I've gotta say it's probably improved by my still having to work full time, if we were all here 24/7 that might not be the case.
