I caught the last ten minutes of the first half. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the goal.

Hurtado having the goal doesn't surprise me though, because most of the play has flowed through the center-left part of the field. Corona is playing centrally and didn't really stand out either way because the overall play was sloppy. Arriola is playing on the right and I barely noticed him aside from some tense clearances out of the right side of the Xolos defensive half.

Edit: Halftime. Highlights showed Pumas looked to be having the best chances until I was watching. Hurtados goal was a dinking ball from a long way out that caught the keeper off his line.

48 Arriola retains position of the ball and connects with Corona who sends a cross into the box that is cleared over for a goal kick.

Corona looks like he doesn't have much in terms of defensive duties. He's basically a withdrawn forward when transitioning to defense. He's basically jogging back to defense.

53 A short corner finds its way to Arriola at edge of the area, who then rushes a shot/pass into the box and it's called for offside.

56 A 50/50 Scrum in the Xolos half ends with Arriola follow at about 30ish yards. Resulting free kick finds its way on target and dipping awkwardly for the keep to parry away poorly but no score.

57 Corona with an excellent through ball to Hurtado in space which is spoiled with a very poor delivery across the box to Caraglio.

Arriola is dropping even deeper this second half looking like a RWB. Not doing that well going forward but Xolos is dominating the center of the pitch.

72 A sick goal from Castillo as he side volleys a poorly headed ball into the top corner. Pumas get one back 3 - 1. Corona also is subbed out and there isn't much to say about his match from what I could see. Mostly anonymous since I have been watching.

76 Arrived with a 1 - 2 pass that sees him fly 60 yards down the field and his sketchy low cross somehow finds it to the center of the box but leads to nothing.

78 Penalty conceded by Xolos [Arriola]! Barrera buries it low to the left and Pumas gain more ground to make it 3 - 2

[Arriola gets beat then clips his man trying to recover inside the area]

81 Arriola receives the ball near the penalty area and tries slipping a through ball to send a man through but it's offside.

82 Castillo with an incredibly awkward goal coming off a cross that taps off his foot and deflects off the thigh of his maker and into the back of the net. Pumas tie it up 3 - 3

[Cross came from Arriola's mark on the wing]

It's pretty incredible. They switched to 5 man backline in defense and it's just inviting a TON of pressure.

85 A set piece clearance finds its way to Arriola 20 yards from the net and his shot goes out of the stadium. Pretty much Xolos in a nutshell this last 20 minutes.

90 Arriola is blocked off the ball at the outer edge of the box and draws a danergous set piece. Resulting setpiece is completely wasted by slamming into the wall.

92 Xolos CB with a scary clearance just missing his own net... Terrifying.

FT: Ends 3 - 3. The strangest 3 - 0 lead ever is nearly wasted in the last 20 minutes by Xolos. Questionable change to defensive shape nearly leads to a loss. Only got worse once Corona came off but I have a hard time crediting that to the play as much as a head scratcher from Herrera. Arriola gave away the penalty on a clumsy clip in the box. Overall a average to poor effort by our yanks.
