APPIANO GENTILE - He sat out last Sunday's goalless draw at home to Chievo because of a one-match ban after the sending-off against Roma, but he's newly available to Alberto Zaccheroni for this weekend's trip to Ancona. Ivan Ramiro Cordoba is ready to return and has clear ideas. "We certainly aren't afraid of Ancona, but we need to show respect for every opponent," said the Colombia captain. "They'll play with the tranquillity of a side which has nothing to lose. We must stay calm without being affected by outside pressures, although it's normal that there's pressure because you always play to win something important so you have to know how to deal with it." On the Nerazzurri's performance against Chievo, Cordoba said: "The only thing we didn't do was score, which we tried in every way possible to do, but the goal didn't come because their goalkeeper was in great form." Cordoba is convinced that playing at the San Siro isn't a problem for the Nerazzurri. "It's always better to play at home. We mustn't let ourselves be affected too much by the fans' behaviour or by what is said," he added. "We were very focused on Sunday and we didn't notice what was happening around us. Our coach and my team-mates deserve credit for having done well in a match which could have become very difficult." Inter still have two objectives for the season. Cordoba : "I'd like to win the Uefa Cup , though I'm aware that it's very important to get fourth place. But winning something would help us approach next season with the stimulus of a concrete success. It's clear that it would be better to reach both objectives. And we're working for this."
