I caught myself being way too long winded in response. I sent you a PM.

Good to know that the push to get women into light infantry/sof has been abandoned. Was afraid standards would be dropped to accommodate them.

Would set crazy precedents if the court rules in the women's favor.

Could you imagine the WBA and the NBA.

Think the NBA would totally drop the WNBA in one of those instances 'be careful what you wish for'.

Maybe. I'm using the NCAA and Title IX as sort of a vague example and saying that leagues may be forced to provide opportunities to women. If you don't have a team or league you better start one. If you do great but soon equal salaries will be necessary. Not saying it's likely but I also would have never predicted women on some campuses could walk on to the rowing teams with full rides because the numbers have to balance (anyone think it's odd that in the NCAA's the numbers must balance but that total attendance to colleges doesn't matter?). Now if this was money for gymnastics, ice skating, diving etc the women have a great case to be paid more.

The NFL is then going to be required to provide for women's grid iron?

I think that the transgender movement will be a very difficult thing for women’s sports to accommodate. As the money gets bigger, there will be increased incentive for male athletes to compete at that lower athletic level.

if a college scholarship is worth $500k all in and there’s a lot of fluidity in gender definition (how one identifies), that’s a pretty big incentive.

I doubt it but if you extrapolate from where things were in the 70's to where they are now it's just a possible prediction.

You know, I’m just spit balling here, so don’t hold my feet all to the fire, but with this Coronavirus thing going on... one of the following is going to happen:

    #1 Things return to normal.
#2 Massive social-political upheaval and revolution.
#3 We go to an indoor, online culture.
#4 Total economic collapse, global panic, and fallout, leading to a return to primitive society - where people are going to have to grow their own fruits/veggies, hunt/prepare/preserve meat sources, provide for their own medical care, protect their own tribes, harvest/purify their water sources, and construct their own shelters.

I won’t say that 2-4 will happen. But I guarantee if they do; soccer is just going to die out.

Even in the indoor, online culture - people just aren’t going to go outside. What will replace traditional outdoor activities will be video games. Fans will just tune in to watch the best video gamers.

That said, I still predict thing will return to normal. In that case, there’s still two deviations. Either we’re going to become more traditional again or we’re going to continue to be more radically “progressive” where the rule of law will matter only in accordance to the offense of the -ism.

Or, hell, we all just die from this thing lol.

LOL This ain't the Black Death. It's not even the 1918 Spanish Flu.

Even considering the extreme incompetence of the current administration, an early return to normalcy is a reasonable expectation.

The extreme panic buying was a surprise. This isn't like a hurricane slowly approaching that's going to crater infrastructure in an area. This isn't a global pestilence that's going to wipe out all crops.

This country as it is today never would've won WWII.

Yeah, we do. It's been around for a while, now. Though obviously, for many, Alex Jones has last word.

Bah, WW2 would be a cakewalk. Can you imagine German cats (Panthers, Tigers, Stugs, etc.) against Abrams tanks? The Kriegsmarine vs. modern carriers and cruise missiles? Easy peasy. On the ground, the Germans and Japanese mostly used Kar98K's and Arisaka's in their rifle squads. I can't imagine even National Guard units having much trouble, with their M16s and M4s.

    ;)

So how many americans will be infected and how many will die? How soon is your expected "early return to normalcy"?

How do thing play out in Italy, spain and france?

Here's the thing: I stated this wasn't on the scale of the Spanish Flu.There are no medical experts stating it's remotely on that level. Democratic nations that had their $hit together, like Taiwan and South Korea, are back to work.

Think that's why they're suing USSF for the money.

That’s not a case their going to be able to reasonably expect to win.
