Not a bad side of the bracket to be on.

Juve up 1-0 at halftime, it should be 2-0.

VAR once again proves how ********ing useless it is in Italy.

Good first half, dominated first 30 minutes then allowed them into the game more when we were 1 up. A good high press and winning possession back quickly when we lose it which is good to see. Miretti is putting in a good shift for the team. Think we just need a bit more movement off the ball in the final third to try and create more chances as for all the possession we haven’t created many chances on target. David is improving and is starting to play with a bit more confidence.

VAR confirmed its incompetence. They just showed the offside for the goal, but they were using the defender in the middle of the box, NOT the outside of the box keeping him onside.

And VAR gives us a penalty lol, tbf, that was a clear foul on Cabal.

    Locatelli scored the penalty, 2-0.

Good win. Miretti, Koop and Mckennie all had very good performances. Would like to see Mario and zhegrova get more game time. They look great players and Mario takes up some good positions. Nice victory and well deserved. Looks like we are going to lose another centre half in Gatti. By the way he was walking it looked like his hamstring. The next 3 games could define our season with 3 tough teams in Napoli, Bologna and Roma. Role in Sunday

Weston McKennie helps Juve reach Coppa Italia quarterfinals

Gazzetta dello Sport player ratings: 1=low; 10=high.

Juventus got its first goal in a 2-0 Italian Cup round-of-16 win over Udinese when Weston McKennie‘s cross was struck by Matteo Palma into his own net.

Juve sealed the win on a Manuel Locatelli penalty kick given for a foul by Palma on Juan Cabal.

    Italy:
Gazzetta dello Sport ratings (1=low; 10=high).
6.5 Weston McKennie (Juventus), 90 minutes, 1 assist (2-1 vs. Cagliari)

    From the Press:
Gazzetta dello Sport on McKennie: “As full of adrenaline as in the good old days: a utility man in disguise, he knows how to make himself useful. If there’s a noteworthy attacking surge, the American’s touch is on it.”

Not that Gatti is a big loss, but Juve are down to one CB lmao.

The only natural CBs that aren't injured are Kalulu and Kelly. Two CB's and Spalletti still insists on playing 3 at the back.

Great job on the market Mr CEO Comolli

Yeah everyone knew we needed another CB.

Still can't beleeb we essentially gave away a kid who e ermine knew was going to be star and he is now playing at Real madrid.

That was a dominating performance. They hardly had an attack other than that Zaniolo mazy run and shot.

Pressing was excellent as was the ball movement. I do want to see more of Mario and Zhegrova.
