Tomorrow the boys are back at it already, let us hope for a similar result and thus still full option on winning both the Scudetto and the bulls eye patch...

What's everyone's take on the lineups, it's good that we have this match mid-week because we'll get to gauge if some of the doubtful players (in terms of fitness) such as Cammorensi and Tiago should get the go ahead for the Serie A meeting with Caglari on the weekend.

Ranieri is going to rest Del Piero, Nedved and Criscito for this one.

Do you think that we'll take the Coppa for serious at least this season?

    Here's the call-ups:

    1 Buffon
    3 Chiellini
    4 Almiron
    5 Zebina
    7 Salihamidzic
    9 Iaquinta
    12 Belardi
    14 Andrade
    17 Trezeguet
    18 Boumsong
    20 Palladino
    22 Vanstrattan
    23 Nocerino
    28 Molinaro
    30 Tiago
    33 Legrottaglie
    35 Esposito
    36 Castiglia
    37 Duravia

That throws out a few different possibilies as far as line-ups go. A lot of people have been saying that they prefer Salihamidzic as a right back as opposed to a more advanced role in the midfield. I would say that with Nedved and Cammorensi not playing that he might have to be put into a more attacking role.

I would probablly go for a line-up like this:

If we go for a 4-4-2:

    -------------------------------Buffon--------------------------------------
    Zebina-----------Andrade-----------------Boumsong-----------------Chiellini
    Salihamidzic-------------Tiago----------Noccerino------------------Almoroin
    ----------------------------Iaquinta---------------------------------------
    ----------------------------------------Trez-------------------------------

    Maybe even a slightly different line-up (4-1-2-2-1)

    -------------------------------Buffon--------------------------------------
    Salihamidzic------Andrade-----------------Boumsong----------------Chiellini
    --------------------------------Zanetti------------------------------------
    --------------------Noccerino/Almoroin---------Tiago/Almoroin--------------
    -----------Iaquitna------------------------------Almoroin/Palladino---------
    ---------------------------------Trez-------------------------------------

The problem with the second line-up is that we don't have another striker on the bench if we play palladino

Would have been an awesome 3 - 0 thumping but Zebina gave away a penalty  oh well, 3 goals away is nothing to sniff at.

It is a joke, what's more of a joke is that he just got a contract extension tis year. I don't think he'll play much once grygera returns.

Our frogs at the moment really aren't very good.

Before we had Platini... then Zidane... nowadays Zebina and Boumsong.:(

Juve took it serious last year too, but look what happened.

With yesterdays win the team doesn't have another Coppa match until December, plenty of time to find their groove.

Good point. But atleast Trez knows to miss penalties at the right time.... and still score for Juve.

I don't know how serious they took it, Buffon taking a penalty against Napoli was a bit funny !
