What can we say? Not much I guess. Even though we were down 1-0 for a change I wasn't afraid because we clearly were the better team. Thank god that we exploded in the second half. Borja... WOW! 39 goals in 2016, that's impressing and I guess that Pekerman will have no choice but to invite him. The guy is one of the best talents in the world today (just 23 years old) and I guess that he won't be with us in January. Great performance of him today, of course including this amazing bicycle kick. We could win by much more than 3-1 and without the controversial penalty (it wasn't a penalty). But at the end the best team advanced and now we will face our toughest challenge so far, Cerro Porteño. I just feel bad that three Colombian teams played in the last 8 and only one qualified. Junior looks sucks from the beginning of the semester, but DIM should've done much better vs. the Paraguayans.
He killed the match. I stand by that. He brought it back to life though using the power of immortality.
Looking forward to Cecilio Dominguez vs Miguel Borja tonight In all seriousness, its one of the best South American fixtures this year. Really looking forward to it.
Nacional playing well so far. Cerro just hoofing the ball to Cecilio who's been handled very well by Aguilar
I'm a big fan of Alejandro Guerra, Nacional playing well. Good defence, limiting Cerro. I still think Cerro will win though.
There was contact. It was a penalty. 1-0. To be fair to Cerro they improved at the end of the first half. Its Nacionals own fault for not taking advantage of Cerro's terrible start.
nah, Cerro did nothing the whole game. No contact either, reminds me of that retarded PK they gave Rosario Central last year
They were awful the first 30 minutes but since then they've began to slowly improve. As I said its Nacional's own fault for not taking advantage.
now Cerro are really going to be defensive. Still, Nacional are better and I see it ending with a draw at least.
Cerro Porteno will score more. Those sorts of goals really mess up game plans. I've seen enough of it from lightweight teams like Universitario and Peru.
Cecilio is an absolutely brilliant player, he's giving Nacional nightmares right now. Winning himself so many fouls including the penalty and got Borja sent off. The perfect example of a South American player. A provocative goalscorer. I love it
