What's the difference between the normal Copa's and the German made ones I see advertised for $20 more?

The German ones are made at the adidas factory in Germany. The 90 dollar ones are made in Indonesia, or some other Asian nation. But I dont see any difference in quality, because my brothers Germans busted in 1 month. The regular ones are still intact.

Soon, there will be no difference at all. Adidas heard a lot of people ask the same question and they decided to discontinue the manufacture of them in Indonesia. They will start all production of the Copas in Germany. The pros are the leather overlaps more on the sides of the shoe (where the stripes are). Thus making it last longer.

$5 says that the $20 less are made by children who wish they were wearing them.

    Touche.

I doubt Adidas is that kind of company that actually hires little kids to do factory work.

Kiddin' me? Nike and adidas are two of the worst! Albiet, I don't know where the children would work otherwise... Little money's more than no money

The German copas fit a bit different too...I recently tried on the German and could have fit in an 8, but normally wear an 8.5 or 9. They seemed a bit wider in the toe area for some reason...

They are a great boot, here we only get the German made ones so I dunno about the others. They last for ages.
