good first half unlucky at the end with the goal by chico, we need more movement in the middle beast goalie with dulche we need to nationlize him and he would def be a contender for the number 1 spot on the nt.

Aurora is a traditional Bolivian team. I wish these Fuc%ers could stop playing futbolito on a freaking futbol field.

Tall speedy dudes can't compare with the smaller dudes when it comes to Futbolito, on average since the better balanced small dudes do better in a small confined cement court; I seriously hope that this isn't the reason why the taller faster dudes in Bolivia aren't playing soccer. I mean, if Moreno Martins was discarded by a professional club team in Bolivia, to only become a prodigy, then theres something extremely wrong with scouting in Bolivia.

After watching the game, I just about barfed in my mouth. Ugly soccer.

Aurora is the CURRENT champion in our league. What does that tell you about the state of soccer in Bolivia?
Hurtado is probably awesome playing for beer and a silpancho at the local soccer field, NOT in an international professional match.

We should start a thread of "Hurtado Haters", LOL

...and remember that Chicó is the "weakest" team in the group. Ouch!

Oh my damn I about fell out my chair laughing, I could kill for a beer and a silpancho right now though.

Didn't catch the game but apparently Aurora stunk up the joint. What do you expect with all these small teams. Did anyone see Real Potosi, wow, seriously my local rec league team could do better. Hurtado? is this the guy Baldi was talking up as the best #10 right now:eek: Oops, but then again maybe his silpancho was not right last time and he played like garbage to make sure that ish is perfect next time.

    [drools] mmmmmm......sillllllpaaancho [/drools]

I havent watched the game, but i was shocked by the score. I recorded it, and will be watching it tommorrow when i get out. I will go into more depth in what i see.

All i saw was teh first 10mins, and from that start they were playing pretty good.... i dont know how it went from that to 3-0...wait scratch that, thats basically bolivias life story.

But all we can pray for, is bolivar takes it all the way this season, cause they have the best team right now that can succeed internationally, thati have seen in a while.

Just noticed that Aurora plays Gremio in Cochabamba this Wednesday. This is a must win for them if they have any hope of qualifying. I don´t think they will but here´s hoping for a miracle. Here´s a preveiw for those who are interested.

Watching the game. Have nothing better to do. How sad is that; it has to come down to being bored to death in order to watch our clubs play (with the exception of the greatest team Bolivar of course :D).

So I´m watching the game and it´s a pretty good one. Aurora is holding their own. They do have a one man advantage for the last 20-25 mins of the game but despite that, they are doing pretty well. It´s 1-1 so far and they are looking to score another one for the win. Here´s hoping they do or else, it´s over.

Reality showed up. Gremio scored in the final minutes. 2-1. Well, they didn´t score, Aurora´s goalie´s crotch scored an auto goal. No joke! It was off a free kick, passed the wall, hit the goalie´s crotch and somehow slipped by and between his legs.

That disallowed goal was actually NOT an offside. Even the announcer agreed that AURORA had every right to argue that call. Aurora should have been up 2-1.

That last goal was crap. Looked like the goalie dropped the ball, and hit it in. Crap goal.

Well half way done with the group stages of the libertadores and both bolivian teams are eliminated. I was one of the few who was happy that both teams in the libertaodres are smaller teams. I know that many of you saw this result and said that this was going to happen. However i feel compelled to defend my point. I still believe that having both smaller teams represent bolivia was a good for bolivia. I saw many good individual performaces in future star players. If we continue to develop them and hopefully they showed enough to were a bigger team might be interested and sign them in the off season. ie

    U
    Saucedo
    Bejarano
    Lampe
    Rivero
    Zabala

    Aurora
    Mendez
    Castellon
    Cardozo
    Viviani
    Huayhuata
    Sossa

The players above played a good level and I feel they should all get a chance at nt if they aren't playing already. And that is what was good about this tournament it was a great international exposure. And if the trends continue I feel that we will see Aurora and La U in more international touranments.

Re: Copa Libertadores: Aurora - Gremio

I saw the entire game, and I actually thought Aurora played with heart and "ganas". The outcome was a combination of poor refereeing, really bad weather and the fact that Gremio simply had better players and a solid scheme.
Dulcich, Aurora's goalie is actually the best one in our league and had a very wet, slippery ball go through his hands. That was his only mistake in the entire game, as he made several saves and prevented the score from being much worse. I hope he gets his bolivian citizenship so we can have him in the NT.

My uncle in Cochabamba summed it pretty well: "Aurora jugo com nunca y perdio como siempre".

Let's see what happens on Saturday. By the way, did I mentioned I am married to a Colombian?

I envy you not because of the unlimited Columbian food, but for the Colombiana! I can go to a ColOmbian restaurant for food.

Hi everyone i'm new to the big soccer forums and just wanted to say how much i enjoyed watching Aurora again. I spent 6 months in Cochabamba and grew a huge affection for the team.

I was shocked to be browsing my TV channels and to find that they were showing an Aurora game in Scotland. It was on far too late to sit and watch live so i recorded it and watched it yesterday.

The gave a really good account of themselves and could have easily won the game, especially in the first 10 minutes. A draw would have been fair if not for the ridiculous goalkeeping at the end.

I have a home jersey from 4 years ago and was wondering if anyone can recommend a website that i can buy a new one from?

Also is there anyway to watch their games/highlights online?
