So is this version of Tigres better than the one that won their group stage? Not sure if they had to make significant adjustments to their formation/game to accommodate Aquino, Damm, and Gignac.
Both guys are at River now as a courtesy. If we were MMLS they'd be our starters with million dollar contracts.
Speaking of- this is one of the few times I've ever seen an Adidas kit without the stripes on the shoulder. Looks good.
They looked really good against inter a few weeks ago. This series was complete ass but these players could work.
@B2TO @JohnnyFutbol Good game guys. Every time Tigres got the ball I was scared shitless. It seem like every time they had possession they would score. Good luck at CCL and LigaMX.
Like I said before Inter are a shadow of their former selves. This River team albeit struggled in the group stages dominated last season, beat boquita for 135 min before they threw the pepper spray, beat the brazilian champs in their home, broke the bunker against the Cinderella Guaraní team. Now we be beat the Super Tigres without our starting goalscorer and RB. I'm sure Tigres can play better if they gelled some more. You don't throw superstars at a team and expect them to play better than a team that has been playing together for a few years.
Ahora tengo que esperar que america juege en la libertadores y llege a la final. Pero no con el technico de quinta nacho ambriz. #FueraAmbriz
@mexicoworldcup.Who would of thought a kid who went from playing high school in Arlington Texas to scoring a goal in Copa Libertadores final— Jose Aguirre (@JoseGatoAguirre) August 6, 2015
He usually facking sucks but he played one hell of a game and he'll be remembered for performance tonight. He has gotten better since the second division days unlike his brother. The reason Balanta has been benched is that the poor guy keeps getting injured. A 100% Balanta is ten thousand times better than any defender we've had in long time.
No mameis. That will never happen. That is what I see from pretty much every attacking minded player that has been coming out of Mexico. It's like they don't teach them how to cross a ********ing ball in fuerzas basicas. Remember Giovani Hernandez from Chivas? Birrias were hyping him up as their next big player just last year.
When I found out Aspe played for River I wanted to see some game footage. There was no footage. Only 5 apps. But el Matador had a few good games with Boca. Sadly, He didn't get his chance to play some more. Sanchez is part of Uruguay's squad and Funes Mori took care of the superstar Gignac with ease. When Sanchez was starting with River the dude was like a guy playing FIFA on turbo and no crossing ability. Now he's been our most valuable player in the last couple of years. Funes Mori along with his brother were a joke but Gallardo really shaped him up to be a solid defender without all the reckless tackles he used to do. Sanchez is an example that a fast guy can learn how to cross, and make better decisions. There's still hope for Jurgen
...to take complete advantage of the ref's leniency by playing dirty as much as they can get away with. Anyway this was pretty much expected and the win as well; should've bet.
Felicitamos a @TigresOficial por obtener el subcampeonato de la #CopaLibertadores2015 #TodoMéxicoEsTigre pic.twitter.com/R4x9eaY3DR— Liga TDP (@LigaTDP) August 6, 2015 I just can't... The whole tigeres twitter timeline is cringe worthy.
