    I've never heard your story.

Are you Mexican, Argentine, both, neither or maybe?

That's one of those things that just shows you the futbol gods' sense of humor.

Tigres played weak. They played not to lose. Too much reliance on Aquino and his act wasn't working. The ref didn't help but you knew that was how it was going to be. They needed more creativity in the midfield to get the forwards involved, and Sobis was a huge disappointment. Someone needs to tell Damm that it's okay to pass quickly or take a shot on goal. If he fixes that element of his game, he can be a beast. If this is Tuca ball then I say fck that for the NT. Our squad needs tactics but not his style.

No Mexican club will win this until conmebol changes the rule and lets the highest seed close at home.

I wasn't following the group stages, only heard about Tigres making semis.
Can you elaborate a bit more if you don't mind?:)

Mexican. Young kid growing up with no soccer background. Family is from Tepezala, Aguascalientes. Develop the love for River in high school watching them in '02 on the old fox sports world channel.

River would've been eliminated in the group stage if Tigres didn't beat Juan Aurich in their final game

Jurgen damm is talented but he shows some venado Medina tendencies when he lowers his head and runs aimlessly toward the end line and sends in blind crosses. I liked the run he had on the aquino header... stayed calm , avoided the defender , and sent in a cross aquino mistimed.

He needs to slow down sometimes

    River deserves it
Fracaso by Tigueres. Had better players, and River was missing a few players too.

I grew up watching a lot of argy league so i have a lil love for their teams. Always been a fan of river's kit. I'm cool with them winning it since their fan base has been trough a lot the last few yrs. Tigres has always been a unlikable underachiever so fck them.

That's more important. If you can't win at home. Can't expect too much away... especially in south america

I don't remember exactly but the gist of it is that River depended on Tigres in the last game of the group stages for Tigres to beat some Ecuadorian team in order for them to qualify, Tigres sent all its reserves and gave a hell of a game beating the Ecuador team like 4-3 thus allowing River to advance.

Pachuca beat a very good Colo Colo team in Santiago. I agree that it's an unfair rule, but that's not the only reason our teams choke.

Cool man. FSW was the $hit. I loved that channel and am a bit of a Boca fan myself, though I loved seeing Chivas beat them that one time. So you became a fan watching the likes of Gallardao and Marcelo Salas. That River squad was nuts.

I watched some on the old fox sports channels and it always seemed like a blast to watch to games there because the atmosphere they had.

    Either that or clever editing
