Bah that could happen if the 2nd place on certain groups was still on the reach of the teams playing other than that, this quite ridiculous for the format, like when they did that mess having 9 groups in 2004.

I would have rather been eliminated in group stages then get eliminated by Corinthians. I have no faith in this team with how poor they have been playing. Not to mention all the mess that has been going on within the club.

That's about the only thing I am looking forward to. Now if the team decides to play, that's a different story.:D

Nacional vs Cruzeiro, partido dificil. Los dos pueden perfilar como para llegar lejos lastima que se chocan ahora.

I hate to say this, but Corinthians does look sharp. Despite Ronaldo's substandard form this season, they have done well and finished in first place in the group stage. They appear to have high morale and will enter Maracanã confidently next week.

I expect high security because the Raça Rubro-Negra, Torcida Jovem, and the others will TORMENT Ronaldo. His "betrayal" has not been forgotten.

Anything can happen, though. It'll be an interesting duel - Adriano vs. Ronaldo.

I think that other than Ronaldo, the Flamenguistas will jeer Roberto Carlos mercilessly. I don't know why, but something tells me he's going to be booed the entire 90 minutes. 1998, anybody? ;)
