Lmao!! That was funny look at the horse poor horse good one though, so when are we gonna know who faces who next round?
I agree, although i'm giving it another week before people start getting annoyed about this overhyped flu, it's still a good idea to put everyone at ease and have these games played outside of Mexico. Colombia seems interesting, although it's going to be a lot harder for Mexican teams to pass through the rounds with no real home field on their side.
Flamengo and Fluminense both have 30 titles in rio de Janeiro. I think the main reason people don't like Flamengo and Corinthians is because the media just focus on them, since they're the teams with the biggests fanbase. And the fans are real jerks.
Well supposing it stays as it's now, why play in Colombia and not in Venezuela? Isn't that closer from Mexico? Or could there some issue with direct flights? Also in the match of Boca i think they said there could be troubles about mexican sides playing in Bogota because the city hall wouldn't loan the stadium. Also i was thinking what would happen if they faced an argentine side when they get to play in here, since in Argentina they disallowed arrivals from Mexico(apparently they may do the same with arrivals from United States)?
Termino el grupo 2 Se cumplio la logica. Boca Juniors quedo primero. D. Cuenca quedo segundo. (El segundo puesto en el papel lo iban a disputar entre Guarani y D. Cuenca) La unica sorpresa fue que Guarani quedo ultimo y no el modesto D. Tachira Venezolano
Ugh.. it pisses me off to watch this match and know that San Martin is advancing to the next round. We are playing them with a B (maybe even a "C") team, and we are beating them 2-0 in the first half. In Peru we also played them with subs and dominated the match (yet they won 2-1; one goal being a made up penalty and the second being a goal from our player that's on loan). I don't know, I just can't believe that this team that looks horrible next to River's B side is advancing.
good for chivas and san luis colombia is not that far, and colombia seems to the be the neutral place, dont forget caracas also played in cucuta
Make that 3-0. San Martin is a DISASTER. Fucking River.. if we would have tied in Paraguay, this score would have put us through.
So are most clubs in Peru well supported or it is just the "Big 3" plus one or two others. And by well supported, they have a loyal fanbase that is organized into ultra groups? And do you think USMP can build a succesful fanbase with a stadium they built for themselves?
The saga continues... La Alcaldía de Bogotá no prestaría El Campín para partidos de equipos mexicanos en la Copa Libertadores
1) Gremio vs 16) Universidad San Martin 8) Caracas FC vs 9) Deportivo Cuenca 5) Cruzeiro vs 12) Universidad de Chile 4) Sao Paulo vs 13) Guadalajara 3) Nacional vs 14) San Luis 6) Sport Recife vs 11) Palmeiras 7) Libertad vs 10) Estudiantes 2) Boca Juniors vs 15) Defensor Sporting
gano nacional 3-1 ya estan los ocho emparejamientos gremio - san martin boca - defensor sporting nacional - san luis de bogota sao paolo - guadalajara (chivas bogotanas) cruzeiro - palmeiras sport recife - universidad de chile libertad - estudiantes caracas - cuenca
If they wanted a neutral venue and were fine with Colombia. Why not Costa Rica IF its available. He has the stadium for sure it just depends on the government. Who knows what the Costa Rican government will say though.
I assume that CONMEBOL is only going to choose a South American venue, hence they chose Colombia which is the closest South American country to Mexico. They could have just chosen the US or Costa Rica if that were not the case. Again I'm just speculating.
cost rica is not a member of conmebol is colombia, good venuel, plus bogota is at 2600 meters above sea level, san luis anda guadalajara are pretty close
I think it'll end up in Venezuela. So all the groups are complete! Argentina: 2/5. Bolivia: 0/2. Brazil: 5/5. Chile: 1/3. Colombia: 0/3. Ecuador: 1/3. Mexico: 2/2. Paraguay: 1/3. Peru: 1/2. Uruguay: 2/2. Venezuela: 1/2. Total: 16/16. Interesting there's the possibility that the two argentine sides meet in the quarter finals. Funny thing is that Palmeiras and Sport Recife will get to play eachother again, heh.
