Silly clearance by your defense. He heads it when he should've cleared it out of the stadium.

Nah, that wasn't it: on the play before that, Buljubasich cleared it for a throw in when he should've just booted it forward (and this came from la Cato playing the ball back).

Pero la Cato no se vio para nada mal: quizas haya un rayito de esperanza por ahi para que se metan a la 2nda ronda.

Not sure what led to the 2nd goal, but from the highlights I saw La U's defender head the ball basically to the America player so he can take the shot.

And that had come from an avoidable throw-in.

Another bitchslap for San Lorenzo, although Cruzeiro didn't play as good as ion the previous matches, i think so far they are the best looking side from the brazilians.

Meanwhile Arsenal, kinda suffered the same problem of Lanús, although Libertad dominated at first, when they dominated they couldn't get to score and had to sweat a lot to make the difference, anyway Libertad was a strong opponent. Group 8 still looks very tough. Of the argentines, i think Lanús was the best so far.

Atlas scored so it won't be a day full of 0-0's.

Atlas is winning 3-0. What is wrong with Colo-Colo?

    Good result for Boca.

Well, it's early so it's not that big a deal, because anything can happen, but my reasoning is that Boca already has the edge over Maracaibo by getting a point on the road. So if one of these two teams buries the other, then it makes it easier for Boca to be one of the top two and qualify.

Atlas look pretty good today and Colo Colo looked liked they never got off the bus. Was this just a bad day for Colo Colo or are they also struggling in the league? Are they in a rebuilding process? :)

Colo Colo has a lot of newer players and that is creating a problem in that they have not found a consistent playing style.

There is no conductor on the team a clear number 10 that creates or is able to control the tempo of the game. That position belonged to Matias Fernandez then it was given to the Colombian Giovanni Hernandez. Colo Colo was able to get Macnelly Torres who has that role in Cucuta but will only be available till after Copa Libertadores is over. So now they are dealing with a (4-4-2) that isn't functioning.

Borghi's main task is to once again try to rebuild a team, a team that fields a player America no longer wanted Ricardo Rojas. His two defensive mistakes cost Colo Colo the first goal. (Despejando como un pendejo al medio, y despues abilitando Marioni)

The second goal was a clear foul on Ricardo Rojas that the ref didn't see, but what can you do, it only makes me dislike him even more. The third goal was another costly mistake which was finished off nicely.

    Atlas were the better team.
