Yea, Cruzeiro is looking decent this year....I say they should be watched closely, along with River and Cucuta (only if Cuctua keeps playing the silly 8-1-1 style)

Holy crap, anybody watching Lanus vs Estudiantes? Awesome game so far.

I can't believe Catolica it's still in. The futbol they propose is the sorriest, most pathetic I've seen from all the teams playing this year. Even more unbelievable are the fans, asking for Carvallo's head and minutes later celebrating like they'd won the World Cup. Catolica is such a strange club.

Damn Estudiantes score with only 10 players and after they lost two of their best players(Lazarro, Piatti) due to injury.

Well, I meant first as in how we both would have the same amount of points with one match remaining.

As for the Lanus-Estudiantes game.. god damn! I am not watching it, but seeing how there's been five goals, some red cards, and a few injuries, it sounds like a very exciting match. And to think that the last time the two faced each other in the Copa the final result was a dull 0-0.

As a side note, they will be facing each other AGAIN next weekend (not this one, but the following) for the Argentine Torneo Clausura.

Lautaro Acosta scores for Lanus. I've always thought he's overrated. 3-3.

Mejor partido de la Copa para mi (hasta ahora).

No puedo creer el penalcito que patea Sand sobre el final...

Agreed, this was the best match of the cup so far, Potosi-San Lorenzo a close second, both teams played with a lot of huevos. To me Sand looked too confident on the rebound and incredibly failed. Another group with a though ending, also this draw gives Cuenca some chances to make it through too.

Luqueno is a physically, defensively tough team. Don't know what the hell happened to them in Colombia, but against Audax they played the same way they are playing right now: trying to anticipate every ball, 8 or 9 players always behind the ball at all times. Very frustrating team to play.

Funny thing is that they recently lost 5-0 to Cerro Porteno in the apertura.

Now their time waisting and the fans at the Morumbi are letting them know what they think of that.

Nothing personal against Sportivo Luqueno but they played with 10 defenders the entire 2nd half. Then their fans started singing "ole ole ole oleeeeeeeeee luqueeeee luqueeeee...."

Then Adriano - he who vanquished Argentina in the 2004 Copa America in the very last moments pulled another last-moment clincher.

    SPFC!!!!!!
