Cerro is the most Pathetic team that ever played the Libertadores (literally) it is no surprise that they lost at home or anywhere else.

Cerro was the first team to lost at home, before this all the matches were home winners, with the away sides scoring only 2 goals.

And yes Arsenal sucked, they were too overconfident about their 1st leg result they thought that the Mineros was going to sit back and wait for the match to finish after they score. Meanwhile Lanús almost had to pay for speculating with the altitude on the first match they took a long while to score their first goal, after that the match was pretty much over, however Olmedo could've scored one before that too. Anyway there have been entertaining matches on the qualifying round i hope this is a good signal of what will be up next.

This has got to go down as the first real surprise of the Libertadores. What the hell happened to Audax?? Did they sell there entire defense from last year in the off-season??

"gran" favorito...tampoco. Boca no es. No es ni Colo-Colo.

Chico a sido un equipo de buen promedio en los ultimos 3 anos en el torneo Colombiano. Audax es mucha mas institucion. Tiene mas historia. Mas hinchada. Pero sobre CL no es un equipo que mete miedo, ni al mismo Chico.

Entre los dos no era favorito?
Tienen un par de seleccionados y una Libertadores a su haber.
Y en ningun momento dije que era ni Boca ni el Colo pero creo que se puede acordar que en el papel, Audax se veia mas fuerte (quizas no en Bogota, pero si en la eliminatoria en general).
Ya me estoy acostumbrando a que me lleves la contra en todo.

Si Audax tiene más hinchas que Boyacá....
Te puedo asegurar que Audax tiene muy pocos hinchas.

 

Audax Italiano: tiene a los mucho 3k hinchas, quizas 4k.
Mas historia si tiene.
Ahora a todos los colombianos les dio por minimizar al Chico.

Audax llevo 8,000 o 9,000 ante Sao Paulo en la pasada Libertadores, aunque es dificil cuante gente en realidad eran fanaticos del Audax o solo iban por un buen espectaculo de futbol.

Por donde se le mire, Audax es un club chico. Hace mas de 50 anhos que no ganan algo y solamente el anho pasado debutaron en la Libertadores. Creo que en cuanto peso, Audax y Chico estan en un nivel similar.

Si Villanueva empieza nuevamente en preocuparse por el equipo en vez de estar adivinando quien lo quiere comprar, entonces los veo en la proxima fase. Aunque con esa defensa...

I'm with you on that one. Audax is a one-man army with Villanueva. If Villanueva is not ON, then they are screwed. Villanueva has to forget about transfers, he was not sold to Europe, he has to deal with it and move on.

They've made it to the group phase, lets see if they have better luck than last time around...

Este anho no creo que ningun equipo chileno haga algo "importante" en la Libertadores.

Audax es Villa.-dependiente. Tal como tu dices--hoy cuando aparecio el, el equipo anduvo mejor (no obstante, le metio como 6 "machas" (tuneles a los colombianos , aunque no vaya mucho al caso). Los refuerzos no estan a la altura de los jugadores que reemplazan: el propio Rocco me parecio algo "torpe" hoy; Ramos no le llega ni a los talones al uruguayo Medina, y a parte del gol del uruguayo Broli, tiene mucho que trabajar para cubrir el puesto que dejo Scotti. Veredicto: que se den con una piedra en el pecho si sacan 6-7 puntos.

La Cato al principio me daba miedo. Senti que con Carvallo no llegarian muy lejos. Sin embargo, el beneficio de la duda merecian y partieron como caballo ingles (8-2 al Malerton ). Pero ya perdieron un partido y sinceramente espero que sea algo puntual. Aparte de Botinelli, los otros refuerzos que trajeron no me parece que esten a la altura de esta competencia. Habria que ver. De local se tienen que hacer respetar. Creo que superan a la U de San Martin y un America mermado por los jugadores que esten con la Sub23 (incluyendo el arquero Ochoa) se me hace como un rival "algo" mas accesible. Veredicto: los veo pasando "apenas" a 8vos.

El Colo reforzo las posiciones que tenia que suplir pero no con los jugadores indicados. A Barrios, Rojas, Salcedo y al Chucky Gonzalez les tengo confianza. No puedo decir lo mismo con el "Caliche" y Jhon Jairo Castillo, aunque merecen el beneficio de la duda (quien sabe si quizas son diamantes en bruto). El tal Castillo me tinca que quizas pueda ser bueno; el otro ("Caliche") tuvo pasos regulares por el futbol tico y boliviano--no precisamente una gran carta de presentacion. Vo-k de una u otra forma siempre se hace fuerte, aun jugando mal. Atlas es Marioni-dependiente y el UAM es una incognita. Veredicto: Colo Colo pasa a 2nda ronda (mas alla de eso, no creo que haya mucha esperanza--la historia seria otra si Macnelly ya estuviese con el plantel).
