Catolica es el unico club en Chile que es capaz de quedar eliminados de esta manera. Por que no jugaron asi contra San Martin? Hay, Don Calvario...

ya that was really unfortunate for catolica. bottineli's free kick was perfect. i thought they surely had the 3rd goal in the bag. but once again.... america get saved by theyre gk... feel bad for catolica. being tied on points and everything and then having to be eliminated by one freaking goal differential goal.... the only reason america is in the next round is because of river's screw up in mexico d.f.

 

You know we got a goal erroneously taken off, right?

No disrespect to America as their one of my favorite Mexican teams but it seems like the whole team is 1 striker (Cabanas) and 1 goalkeeper (Ochoa).

Last night Ochoa was basically the whole defense, it must be pretty frustrating for him.

I've heard many things from this Ochoa guy, but now that I have seen him I can agree the guy is an extraordinary GK...and young as well! Any other team with that crap defense would have lost by 4 or 5 goals easily...

Nice match by River, i think they became a good contender.

By the way, someone mentioned about Audax getting eliminated with 10 points last year, well there's the possibility that Atlético Nacional qualifies with 8 points while Arsenal couldn't make it with 9. Although it's true it could be different because Arsenal didn't deserve to advance in my opiion.
