I agree that the LIbertadores is much more fun to watch, but I don't think the Flamengo game was exciting - then again, I only caught the final 15 minutes. Cruzeiro deserves credit for going after Boca from the opening whistle - but even so it was not the most entertaining game I've seen, and not just because of the result.

I say that San Lorenzo gets a result. I thought River would pass when the series came out, but with Ramon on the bench for San Lorenzo and River's moral being pretty low (after losing the first game and the Superclasico) i got for the team of Sin Libertadores :p

No offence to Americanistas but America won today because of Flamengos Fuk up...America has no chance in winning the whole thing imo...they got beat by Veracruz(need I say more)..........Cabanas and Ochoa are world class though.

But we also beat Flamengo at home(need i say more). I think America will get a lot of confidence with this win. Plus now we dont got to play mexican league games, we can just focus on Libertadores.

Either Cucuta or Santos - two teams that were in the same group. Santos won the home leg 2-0.

Either team would have home field against America, who was 15th overall (which highlights how embarrassing this is for Flamengo, a team I really like... :( )

Santos and Cucuta are really good teams,it will be tough but hey America has S. Cabanas hes a beast, his skills are alot like Chupete Suazo both are amazing they can kill you many ways, speed, headers, long and short shots, and even free kicks.

It was an epic game, very well planned by America.

Oh, and I don't care what anybody says but Salvador Cabañas is the best forward playing for a latin-american team. He migh look chubby but he was faster than the Flamengo defenders! and the way he was pivoting...and his cool and calm decision taking and definition...

Very lame cartoon!!! But anyways... hopefully brazilians start taking things seriously from this point on. Its a big humillation to say that is the biggest team in Brazil, they dont even have the slightest clue what it is to have love for the jersey...amor por la camiseta. no balls... soooo shamefull!!

    I have to agree.

Terrazas work is usually much better.

I decided to post them up nevertheless.
