I see Tite is sticking by Gabriel Jesus. I can see the logic behind it but how long do you want to wait around. I feel all he really need is a goal to get going like the Olympics but just like the Olympics I think he feeling the pressure.

He tried to leave him till the end in the Serbia game to try and get that confidence goal. That's why Firmino didn't come in. I'd have no problem with Firmino coming in if I thought he was a good finisher.

Correction, Marcelo won't start but will be on the bench.

He isn’t as clinical as Jesus but I think he contribute more in terms of all around play. Jesus ain’t giving us anything outside of effort and workrate but on the flip side the bench options suffer.

Looks like Fagner will start as well.

Que saudades de um joguinho de mata-mata sem sufoco. Tipo um Brasil 4 x 1 Chile como em 98.

Marcelo hasn’t really shown up to be honest he hasn’t been poor but not what I expect from the best LB in the world.

But Filipe Luis proved his defensive mettle against Serbia, and Mexico is not going to play like Costa Rica. The more defensive strength we can get the better.

Those guys do that for a living, and besides, they get paid tons of money to sweat like that. If I were 20 years younger and 1,000,000,000 times more talented, I'd do it too.

I start feeling warm as soon as it gets above 72. My ideal temperature is 67. F— running in 95 degree weather.

And that's nothing. Wait till Qatar 2022.

Depends what kind of 85 F it is. My real question is how did the knee hold up. :p

The Mexican board's BRA-MEX game (which is now up to 17 pages - the Mexicanos have been talking nonstop about this match and it's about 20 minutes before kickoff) has said that Osorio is deploying Mexico on a 5-3-2 on defense which will switch to a 4-3-3 on offense with the purpose of scoring early and ending this game in regulation.

Seeing these favorites get eliminated early is making me a nervous wreck now.
