Reflecting on the subs brought on (and off) and who did not get on. All subs came on after 4-0 lead so it was not about strategy as the game was won. First Roberto for Dest. Next Moriba for Pedri and Araujo for Pique. Finally Braithwaite for Griezmann and Dembele for Mingueza. All worthy subs on, don't think who went off matters given the score and all exiting players had warm embraces for Koeman. So I guess a question is who was also worthy but did not get to come on? I think Trincao and Puig had best shots. Other first teamers haven't really played much under Koeman (Pjanic, Junior, Umtiti). From the b team with Mingueza starting and Moriba subbed on no one else should feel aggrieved. B team plays today in less than 2 hours. Hosting Villarreal B and, while not an elimination game, they're needing a win.
The Copa run kinda emulates the entire season where most/many games Barca would play one really good half and one meh or downright terrible half of football. I don't understand how we can look hungover and slow in the first half and then come out flying with crisp one-touch passing to score 4 goals in the second half with the same 11 guys on the field!?
The only game where Barca actually lead was the first game vs Cornella and even then was after the 90 minutes
Barca B looking to lock that win down up 3-1 with goals by Konrad, Collado, and now a PK by Manaj after Villarreal B got one back.
Missed the fact that this goal came on the end of 60 (!!) consecutive passes... Deserves to be considered one of our all-time great team goals alongside this one vs. Liverpool in 2001:
