If Trezeguet comes back sure. Another Golazo is appreciated but we'll most likely use our b or C team for this game.

This tournament would be so much more interesting if it wasn't held in Nuetral venues in remote provinces... Like when River and Defensores de Belgrano played each other in Catamarca when both teams are separated by a few blocks in Nuñez.

This is why people like you are not running AFA. You make too much sense.

I have a question, why the teams from first leagues are losing with the teams from lower league is this because the team roster for first league teams such as Boca Juniors is not 100% or those from first League dont care about this cup?

Neither, its because right now there just isn't that much difference between the 1st and 2nd division in Argentina, thats really the only explanation for most teams...

and as for Boca Juniors... Well, the year San Juan got relegated in 2013, Boca lost to them 6-1, so is it really surprising they lost 2-0 to Huracan, who came within a play-off match of being promoted?

In Boca's case, I'd say its just that their coach Bianchi is senile and their central defender Cata Diaz is possibly the worst player in the league. He scored a few goals so boca fans really like him, but he's a trash defender, there's a reason why Simeone kicked him out of Atletico

Also some first division teams have gone through a lot of changes in players and possibly in management as well so they won't be playing 100%.

Add to the fact that the smaller clubs care more about winning their matches as the prize money is around 360,000 pesos for advancing to 16avos and 480,000 for the next round. I don't know the economic status of the clubs from La B but That's a good chunk of change.

Champion gets 1,800,000 pesos and a spot in the Copa libertadores.

Huracan beat Rafaela in the semis of the copa argentina... They could play the Libertadores next year even if they don't win promotion. Crazy

The other semifinal is between Argentinos and Rosario Central. So there could be a final between Huracan and Argentinos.

Winner goes to Copa Libertadores to get eliminated in the first round.

They also qualify for the supercopa Argentina against River Plate. :D

Central is crushing Argentinos 3-0. So it will be Central vs Huracan in the final with a place in the Libertadores on the line... And of course the supercopa final against river. I hope for a Huracan victory... When was the last time they played the libertadores?

LOL Huracan wins the Copa Argentina and qualifies for the copa libertadores for the first time since 1974... They still don't know if they'll play in the primera division of the b nacional next season, but congrats to Huracan for this triumph, definitely a club who has deserved more over the years

Well, are they in the libertadores or the qualifying round? If they're in the qualifying round, they'll lose and it will be painless and quick. If they're already in the group fase, think of it was 6 games lost. It'll be a miracle if they get a point. I hope River gets them in our group.

Because they are not even in primera Huracan will be in the pre-qualifier as Argentina 6. Argentina 5, Boca Juniors, will also be in the pre-qualifier because CASLA is Defending champion and they are Argentina 1.
