Yeah, definitely shouldn't have a problem getting those for nothing week of. I'd probably go, cheap soccer at SF is too good to pass up.
ah, thanks. I figured it was too early to look at StubHub, but obviously we've hit "midweek fire game" prices already. I'll have to keep watching to see if any club seats open up on the cheap.
Yeah I think obviously what happened was people buying the venue pass and just looking to dump that game. Having gone to lots of Dallas Stars games. I know the old $6 Stubhub special haha
Soldier Field is one of those venues where sitting up in the corners still gives you a great view of the game, so I wouldn't be against a 7 dollar ticket up there, but I get a feeling that one could turn into a "sit wherever the hell you want, just not in someone else's seat" situation." I'm trying to remember if they even checked our tickets for the USA vs Aus rugby game last summer.
Yeah, I was thinking that too. Would be nice to finally see the United Club or sit in the 100s not in the endzone.
So I opted for the e-ticket, which apparently is scanned from your mobile device. Is there a back-up I could use just in case something goes haywire with my phone on game day? This would be my first time not using a paper ticket.
Are etickets available to print at this point? Maybe that is the issue. On my laptop the e-ticket link isn't clickable, but on my phone the link is clickable--although a timer pops up doing a countdown for the number days until gametime, and when the ticket will actually work.
I'm not sure. Sometimes they do delivery delay but you can probably call ticketmaster to check your specific order.
Birmingham? Nashville? Charlotte? Atlanta? Memphis? None of the above? Thanks, Copa, for asking me to drive 9 hours or pay $320 + for a plane ticket. Can't build a base by ignoring half the country.
Guessing Russia is out of the question then. $320...sorry, no sympathies for ya. A lot of people travel farther and pay more to travel to see the team play.
Make a nice little trip out of it. Hit up New Orleans, get some craw dads, listen to some music and head on over. I hear you though. Driving 4.5 hours south to L.A. is a chore for me.
But that hasn't been a requirement for those people for almost every meaningful match played by the USNT in this country. It has been for people living in about ten states, maybe more. The World Cup is worth the money/trouble no matter who's playing. This is yet another event in my country that ignored an entire region. Maybe United's existence next season will help bring the USNT out of college towns like Columbus and remote areas like Portland.
Remote areas like Portland ???? I've had to fly to just about every US game I've ever been to, because I actually live in a remote area. $320 is pretty standard airfare.
I really admire their optimism because based on the US's play in the last couple of years, I sure as hell don't see it.
Doubt there will be too many games in southern states soon.... Although at least Georgia vetoed theirs. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ial-law/?postshare=5071459352820368&tid=ss_tw
Look at it this way... ... The Copa America was in doubt for many months and it may not have happened at all if not for some last second decisions here and there. A Copa in the USA is happening and that is a good thing. Just suck it up and drive south to Orlando.
