This Brazil result opens the door for us to win the group and avoid having to play both Brazil and Uruguay in the elimination rounds.

    Just gotto handle our business

Brazil are going through it right now

Can't beat Costa Rica and are struggling with Americans. That is just sad

Honestly these results speak of how more competitive this Copa may be; easy wins are still there but I do think that the weaker teams going against traditionally strong opponents are moviated trying to create upsets of their own.

Out of all the favorites we did have the most difficult opening match and for the most part looked very good.

Hopefully we can continue to get better. We know this team can play better. Especially once Diaz gets going on the scoreboard.

I am going to remain very optimistic and dream.
It would be funny if we beat Costa Rica. Then Paraguay ties Brasil. Then Paraguay beats Costa Rica and we knock out Brasil on the last day with our benchers. :D

It is very possible. Paraguay does have a history of upsets especially against Brazil at the Copa America.

But i do think that unless Paraguay does win against Brazil, Brazil will have that one chance to qualify to the next round by trying to beat us.

The good thing is that the Brazil coach is not very good in using his players. Vini getting locked down by Saprissa players was crazy to me.

Vini plays so well under Ancelotti.
For Brasil he really just not has not gotten into his groove yet.

He looked like he would when he played us in Qualifying and then got injured.

Like lucho, he struggles a bit against team that park the bus. He doesn’t get the space he gets when playing in Madrid that has a more direct attack than Brazil

both lucho and Vini find themselves taking on 2 or 3 players often

Watching Austria play in the Euro group stage was inspiring. Plenty to learn from a team that did not back down from anyone...
