Thanks, I think it's the one they had for last presale, it was already on my list to try, but were they really that lazy and just reused the same code? Guess we'll find out. Queue moving slower than yesterday too which means there are tickets actually available this time, as opposed to yesterday where there were none and so the queue could move faster.
It sent me back to the countdown again just like yesterday, same for you? And also they removed the future presales, they are no longer on the page and the countdown is now for the general sale in 6 days.
I got to the ticket page. But it's all gone. A single seat popped up, up high in nosebleeds but was completely uncartable.
My best guess is that there will be some inventory left for the general sale on May 1 just so they don't open with absolutely nothing, but probably very limited.
Thanks, all codes closed now though. "The code you entered is correct, but there are no more tickets available." We wait for the general sale, and if there's nothing there Stubhub it is.
The good news for us without tickets is that if Argentina, Mexico, or (maybe) Brazil lose before the final, prices should fall significantly. No one is playing $450 to sit in the last row for Uruguay vs Ecuador.
The chances are very , very low for Ecuador to reach the final. Let's get real. Argentina should make it. If not them then probably Mexico even if they are playing poorly.
For the "concierge" ticketing to the QF & SF, do we have any sense of whether the tickets will become offered if the USA happens to get into those matches? The USSF email mentioned something about the tickets being conditional, but not sure if even that is a pipe dream or realistic.
Yeah it sounded like they can get tickets if the US progresses, but not otherwise. But it also seems pretty clear they are depending on an erratic CONMEBOL so who the hell knows.
Would be really frustrating and atmosphere-damaging. I expect most of these games to have snooze-y crowds but was hoping for certain games to have great supporters sections. I knew they'd already shut out the South American federations from having supporters sections for traveling fan groups but it's incredibly disappointing to have us shutout as well, especially considering these stadiums will be 60% full (if CONMEBOL think we're coming selling out Mercedes-Benz for the Panama game at these prices they're delusional, there will be entire sections completely empty).
It’s going to be really disappointing if the US-Panama game is outdrawn by the USWNT’s random Atlanta friendly a few weeks ago (51k). Yes, that was on a Saturday. But still…
Yeah I agree. The team hasn’t played there in a long time and Atlanta will really get behind them, but it’s just a lot to ask at those prices on a weekday against a mid-level Concacaf team.
Your posts prompted me to look at ticket availability on Ticketmaster for Atlanta and Kansas City. Plenty of seats available for sure. The purchase process for this tournament has been a nightmare. I flashed back to the stress I had when I bought for those matches; the limited availability, the rushing, the blue dots disappearing....when I could buy comparable, and in Kansas City, cheaper tickets now without constraints.
Thanks to this post I looked as well and I see 0 seats. Now that I think about it, I've never seen a single seat available, ever, starting from the sales 2 months ago up until now. I wonder if my Ticketmaster account is glitched? How can all those lowest demand matches (I checked them all) still be all grey for me, with nothing available?
Seems like it is glitching. There are a lot of seats available on Ticketmaster, both at face value and resale.
I just made the decision to purchase 2 tickets for the Kansas City game. Got the email from US Soccer about the reserved tickets and it came to just over $700 for 2 tickets CAT1 (lower bowl) without any assurances of where the seats would be. I scored resale row 2 lower bowl sideline for just under $500 including fees. “Face value” for this section right now is about $100 more after fees with many seats available. I’d guess prices are going to come down the closer to the tournament but wasn’t sure about these lower rows so I snapped them up. Hopefully the knockout rounds follow suit as well but I think those may be a little more price stable, especially if the US makes it.
This is messed up for sure.. Circles "concierge" tix avail now. Pricing is all over the place for same # of tix and same Cat. I get Uruguay is bigger draw but twice the price... And the price for the concierge are quite a bit higher then just buying direct thru the Copa website. F these guys. Still waiting out hope for supporters section. If not will just buy cheapies and move to whatever section looks good.
