I heard it and he also criticizes USA and mentions the FIFAGATE, which makes me support him even more, tbh.

This wasn't an issue when USA actually ran and organized the 2016 Copa America Centenario. Afterwards CONMEBOL cried that USA made way more money than they did, so this time around they took more control of the event so they could reap all the profit. Surprise, surprise they ********ed things up. Passing the buck back to USA when things go wrong is silly. They want their cake and to eat it too, typical corruptos that they are.

Bielsa said USA created the FIFAGATE alongside the FBI when they saw they interests were attacked. CONMEBOL is crap, but lets not pretend here that USA is the land of truth and pureness cause the american dream has long been revoked by now, and we are way past knowing what USA really is and has been doing around the world for SO LONG. So, please:confused::confused:

Say what you want about El Loco's tactics but he will always be a man who stands up for his principles. Thus, we have once again blessed the footballing world.

Montiel in doubt for the final due to injury…

Hopefully he makes it. We kind of need him to contain Luis Diaz

Before the red card comes in this post should settle it. The nation's name starts with a C and ends with a and it's not China or Canada.

Yep, some tropical country with a big inferiority complex with us, that's usually the most educated guess.

I like Bielsa and he is adored in Leeds for his principles and the way he conducted himself, his humility and the way he asked his players to behave.

But there were several investigative journalists who dug the dirt up on Blatter and his underlings and heads of various associations around the globe and how they are extremely seedy. Don Julio of course was one often found sitting next to Blatter. FIFA still stinks. It's been corrupted by lucre for many years ever since the World Cup really exploded with global television and TV rights/ advertising.

CONMEBOL too, CAF and to lesser extents UEFA, AFC and CONACAF.

:D Errrrr.... good point. Come to think of it there is Croatia and Cuba too. But it's none of those. Cubans love Argentina anyway.

I would agree that USA deserves criticism, just not so much for this. Everyone knew FIFA was driven by bribes, the Qatar thing just was so brazen on the face of it that it could no longer be ignored. The reason USA and the FBI didn't get involved before is they had no jurisdiction to interfere. So yeah it was in their self interest, but I doubt they would've been looked on any more kindly if say, they stepped in after South Africa won their bid for 2010 or something. In fact it would be worse because it'd be entirely extralegal and they would've had no standing to act.

I know you're a troll an don't know why I even bother since you won't last in here... but Bielsa never defended FIFA, he said the US exposed the corruption only because it was against their interests.

This is the same as the Panama Papers, which exposed corrupts all around the world except for three countries: US, Germany and Israel. Because, you know, there is no corruption in those countries:rolleyes: Not that hard to understand but I guess you revealed how low is your IQ aftet your second post.

Damn FIFA continues taking all the football out of football by creating VAR, giving tournaments to shitty hosts/venues, letting oil money monopolize europe, and now trying to turn the WC/CA to Superbowls with grandiose halftime shows

It’s all downhill from here.. glad to have lived the golden era of the sport. 90s/early 2000s futbol argentino — chef’s kiss!

Im about to become Jay from Modern Family, talking about back in my day, but they really are ruining the sport for the sake of making it an ultra commercialized spectacle. It’s sad to see.

I'm quite calm before this final, compare to Brazil 2021 or France 2022.
