How so? We are hardly defending, so our defenders aren't exactly tired. If anybody is going to get tired it will be their defenders. This isn't rope a dope.

Yeah Uruguay is playing anti futbol but we are lacking in our decision-making in the final third.

Pastore should be replace by Banega. He's been poor in final third.

If Tevez or Pipita is going to come in then its better as soon as possible. With the way Uruguay defended, we need third striker. Biglia will not produce nothing in this kind of match.

Uruguay is looking for chances on dead ball situation obviously. I don't really like how the team is playing and how Martino is using Messi. Messi is getting the ball in the mid field. We have the best player in the world, but Di Maria gets the ball more? Doesn't make sense. We need to be a little bit more creative in attacking.

Btw, I mean we need Lavezzi not Tevez/Pipita. We need his energy.

Messi already shouting at his teammate like he did in 2011. I think Van Gaal made right decision dropping Di Maria to the bench. He's been poor and only played well once in every 5 games or so.

He did make one good pass and did well to head Messi center. That was probably the best chance of the game so far. He has made some bad passes and seem to yet be comfortable with the team, but I see potential.

That's true. Di Maria is only a starter because of his name and past. Players who are not on form with their teams should not be starters.

The problem is, Argentina had lost their trademark short passing one-two play for years. So when opponent defended like this we have no creativity.

Under Sabella at least we know how to counter and also defended very well. This team so far looks like 2011, 4 years later but no difference.

Well with the AFA we have it would probably be Humberto grondona. Since all the players play in Europe pretty much it would make sense to have a coach who has success coaching in Europe, but logic does not hit AFA in the head.
