WTF, is this Groundhog Day again?? Tite is still taking injured players to another tournament? He didn't learn his lesson from last year?
Nike has an alternate white jersey for Brazil now so I'm sure they want to show it off prominently. We'll probably wear white against Bolivia, blue against Peru, and yellow against Venezuela to try and boost jersey sales.
Speaking of jerseys, CBF will remove the 5 stars from atop the logo on the women's team as those stars are from the men's World Cup wins. Other federations whose men's teams have won titles do not have those stars on the women's uniforms. The exception appears to be Argentina, whose women's uniforms sport the same two stars on top of their association's logo.
Even though for WC'14 we had that blackish-green 3rd kit we never wore!! But I'm still think that white jersey is bad luck!!
Indeed. It was already declared that a women's World Cup win will not mean a sixth star on the men's jersey. As for the men's Olympic or U-20 or U-17 teams, I think the 5 stars are fine, even though in 2016, Brazil played with a jersey with the flag placed where the CBF logo would be. The U-20 won 5 World Cups and the U-17 won 3. And at least a few of the youngsters do reach the senior NT anyway.
Just FYI ... no English TV coverage for Copa America. It's on Telemundo only. On streaming services, you can get English/Portuguese coverage on ESPN+ ($4.99/mo) or English only NBC Streaming (free if you have cable). Globo Int. will also be showing at least Brazil's games. I will be using the magic box although it has been a little more flaky lately. Or else I'd possibly sign up for ESPN+ .
As expected Tite goes with Fernandinho in Arthur's spot. Neres getting the nod to start. So it's Neres, Richarlison, Firmino up front.
Hopefully we score a couple early cause it's getting hard to get excited about this right now... I do like the front line though and am looking forward to Coutinho dominating against South American opposition.
Maybe it's just me, but I really don't care for these opening ceremonies. Olympics is another story though.
O Neres tem uma puta cara de sonso. Vi uma entrevista com ele e ou ele tinha puxado um belo baseado ou o cara não tem muito na cabeça
Singing a capella was cool in 2014. IMO now either they play the whole thing or just finish it short. It's becoming awkward.
Morumbi Stadium, a tough one to play in!! If we don't score early or dominate the whistles and the boos will start!!
