As much as I hated to lose like that, you have to face the fact that had the game ended 0-0 we could've finished 2nd and we'd be facing Argentina tomorrow

I know, I know :). Its really hard to blame anyone in this instance. Had this happened in a WCQ match then that would really be a bad blow. I'm sure Markarian will analyze carefully what happened in that play and plan carefully next time. This once that mishap is ok but it wont be next time.

But then again, If we would've won the game, we would be facing Venezuela, which is, even after their awesome performance, a far more accessible rival than Colombia.

Look, I've been doing a lot of thinking too, and even though we may feel this coming game is an even match, it really is not, it's more like a 60-40% in favor of the Colombians. We are a good team, limited, but good; but we can't deny the fact that Colombia has slightly better players than us and they are a solid unit too. We are the only ones in the quarter finals that have lost a game, we only have two goals scored; So, I'm really prepared for whatever comes, if we win great, it would be the result of hard work and dedication. If we loose, then so be it, we didn't expect to be in the semis, and the final goal is the qualys. We have the right to be optimistic, but let's not let it get to our heads, remember we are the last ones in South America.

I cant agree with you on 60-40%, 55-45% etc etc.....thats just negative talk. If there was a time to believe its right now. Its Markarian's job to put those percentage's in our favor. Sure his toolbox may not be full right now but he has been repairing this team with whatever tools he has available and doing a decent job thus far. I dont care about paper stats, A teams, C+ teams. All I care about is what I see on the field during the game and end results.

No he didnt. Either way, I didnt like too much when he started Fernandez the first game, then he started him the 2nd game and did a good job but almost cost us. By the third game I was ok with Fernandez and he puts Libman in, why did he do that? Was it our destiny? Is El Mago a prophet?

A comparacion de Fernandez, Libman secure the ball pretty well...

Shit was brutal.

It feels good being in a semifinal again, last time it was 1997 when Freddy was coach and the guy made a miracle, the team was filled with Waldir, Frank Palomino,Dulanto,Chiquito, etc.

It's not pretentious to have some dignity, nero. You have no idea what that's like but the day you do, you'll see.

    Oh yeah, Brazil is out.

Don't wanna jump ahead of myself but... the Copa is really within our reach now. We can seriously beat any team left.
