88' Forsell and Jarosik combine at the top of the box, Forsell shoots wide of Howard's net.

89' Brown just heads away a nice cross from Pennant.

SAF's post-match comments on Sky don't mention Howard or Rossi.

That's part of what makes Rio a frustrating player (from a ManU fan perspective).

Looking through my old NASL stuff. Is that you with the fu manchu? Answer this question. Don't make me put it up on the net.

Are we gonna know about KC come Jan 1? I want to see the kid playing dammit!

Preferrably a London based club. I'll be there quite a bit in Jan/Feb.

    Re: Cooper

I understand that the player can turn down the loan, but I would guess that the club would want to decide where to loan a player based on the likelihood that this player would get playing time, style of play, ease of monitoring that player's progress, etc. IIRC, when Cooper was loaned to Oldham last winter, you (or someone else here on this board) stated that one reason was that Oldham is close to Manchester and thus made it easy for ManU to keep track of Cooper. I don't mean to doubt your answer. I simply want to educate myself.

    Re: Cooper

Out of sight....out of mind.....I think if Cooper could have a "do over" he would not have gone to portugal...it allowed Rossi and Eubanks-Blake to move ahead of him in the "pecking order" and that loan turned out to be something out of an episode of "Dream Team"....for a striker in particular getting the right loan is critical and not a decision to be taken lightly.....

with the FA starting up Tim should get in a few more 1st team appearences. Let's hope for some good showing and perhaps maybe give VDS and Sir Alex something to think about the next time VDS struggles

the first goal was all Ronaldo. He set up Saha an inch away from an empty net, ball less than inch off the ground, even though it was going at good pace.

his 2nd one was very nice though

I think Rooney put Ronaldo through. Rooney is playing out of this world at the moment, brute that he is.

    Re: Cooper

i agree with those who say that he may simply have to develop himself into that target forward that many coaches probably see him as.

the off forward is not as popular as the target forward or the smaller speed/skill forward common to top flight football. some coaches seem to think that the off forward is a waste of manpower - so he'll continue to have a problem, imho, getting first team minutes playing that position.

I don't know about this.Coaches are not stupid. If you are effective, they find a place. Is Van Nistelrooy a target forward?I do not see him flicking things on like McBride. If Kenny can score and pass well, he will find a place on a good team.
