    WTF, where's Corona?

aside from that not a bad list. would have been better to call up Zavala instead of Sinha. that guy is useless now.

Memo esta valiendo madre. Pero bueno, creo que Chuy ya tiene en candado el #1, entonces estos juegos seran la batalla para portero #2.

    WTF No Corona?

How the hell did Talavera stay on the list and then they add Ochoa, dropping Corona who has been solid so far in 2011.

Still a good team, only missing Nery to be out strongest team.

Maybe Pacheco, but he's been off-form lately with Atlas.

What offense though. Looks friggin lethal.

Lucho Perez, Duenas and Barrera are the calls I don't really like. Barrera more so because he's had no playing time. The other two because I don't believe they are MNT material. To a certain extent Zinha because of his age. Other than that the calls were pretty good.

I'd rather have Nery over Zihna/Elias Hernandez.

thought he wasn't going to call people who haven't been playing...

talavera has sucked this season, along with memo. of all the players to call up from monterrey, osorio and luicito. no mames, duenas and magallon, zinha.

this list is troubling. with the lack of friendlies before the gold cup, seems like most of these guys are going to make the bulk of the list.

    Memo??
    Duenas??
    Osorio??
    Magallon??
    Castro??
    Elias??

Q es lo q el Chepo ve en estos individuos??
Rapidamente pueda salir con jugadores de la misma o mejor calidad pero q servirian mejor en el proceso....
    Corona/Michel/Orozco>>Memo
    Mier>>Duenas

Corona probably has the #1 spot on lock down, these other guys a fighting for the #2 spot. That being said, Orozco got screwed. I think he deserves the call more than Ochoa rightnow.

Elias Hernandez has been coming off the bench lately for Monarcas but he has the second most assists in the league. He's a good call up.

    OSO-rio

I really don't mind Osorio because it means that Juarez will be playing CM.

I don't know about Memo, Naelson, Castro, Luis Perez and Duenas though....

You'd think Zavala would've gotten a shot after Castro was dusted by the Bosnians time and time again last month, especially when you consider the fact that he's too old for the Copa America team and how highly unlikely it is that the Federation would waste on of their overage spots on a guy who will turn 24 during the tournament.

For the most part it's a good list but there are some head scratching decisions in there.

Corona better be the number 1. it's BS that he was left off

if anything the number 2 goalie spot should be between Michel and Orozco. Talavera has been pretty mediocre, and Ochoa is just a shell of his former self. the guy has had his head up his ass for the past year and has been making big time rookie mistakes.

Lucho, Sinha, OSOrio, and Duenas have no place on this team. hopefully they won't be seeing any meaningful minutes on the pitch.

and once again Hobbit gets royally screwed  he should at least be one of the over 22 guys for Copa America

really strange that Rios and Zavala got left out. if anything these 2 should have been on the list seeing as how we are in dire need of new DMs

I got beef with our midfield. Torrado and Sinha as well as Lucho Perez need to go. Don't get me wrong, I like Torrado and to some extent tolerate Sinha but we should at least make use of these friendlies and experiment with other players who are having an above average season with their teams like Zavala. But oh wells.

I thought Medio Tiempo was the undiputed king of the negtive replies, but this has been pretty impressive.

Let's go over it again. This is only Chepo's 2nd chance with the senior side. If it were you, wouldn't you want to have guys at practice that understand your methods and tactics so that they can help the other guys assimilate a little faster?

Does anyone think Duenas will actually start over maza, moreno, magallon or Rafa? Will sinha start over gio? So what if they are on the list.

No, but it wouldn't hurt to have some of those people that others have mentioned be in the same training camp with those who will be starting. They'll gain experience that way.
