Read an article on the young American in USA Today. Seems he is having great success in his more natural position of attacking midfielder. Four goals in two games. Sure would like to see him wearing a Charlton kit next year? Is Curbs the type of manager to go after someone like Convey? Convey is young, has speed and finishing ability. I just don't know about his tackling. Though he has been playing wing and/or left or right back. So, his defense must be a least pretty good.
I would love to see Convey in Charlton Red/Yellow/Black. He is a great all-aroud player and this summer he will be eligable for a work-permit again. He as played amazingly well with the U-20 team in the U-20 WC, and is on a tear with te U-23 team. I think that he would also come to a team like Charlton and would become a fan favorite. Granted I am saying this as a fan of convey and a Charlton fan = fan favorite. He is a good defender. The good thing is that he is young and works on his game a lot. He knows he needs to improve, and is willing to do it.
