Let me throw him a ********ing party formdoing one sit down with one blog. Newsflash. The club is supposed to communicate with it's fans. In addition, it's not all that enlightening. Read Iron81's comment. He implies that a guy who's resume includes cutting the orange slices for a youth club is now in charge of scouting. Yes ********ing ha cowboy.

First, it's not like we got to ask him questions.

Second, from he does say, there's nothing to react to. It reads like an extended PR piece written by an intern. For example, certain transfer windows are open in the middle of our season and we look for "character" guys. Uhm, OK. So? It's not like we've used this to tinker around the edges or get that one player we were missing. We've basically had to reload important parts of our core each year because our off season moves have busted, the fragile guys we brought in not surprisingly got hurt or guys have left. I'm not surprised that he doesn't mention that but to be honest, Part 1 at least has very low information content.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until Part 2 to see if he says anything remotely interesting but I kinda doubt it. Here's hoping for a surprise.

It's worthless. But if you are happy with it, then I'm happy for you. Our ownership sucks. Just like your girlfriends sisters mother, I'm sure.

I'm too lazy to look myself, because I don't actually care about our FO's "lack of communication", but can you guys show me any interviews from other MLS teams as examples of a better communicating FO?

 

I like that he admits their mistakes,castillo,and cobos. I just hope this guy from ath madrid can judge talent and will get us more talented players if not this season,next year.

 

Yeah... when you look back about ten years ago and see the information that Peter Wilt regularly freely offered on here "generally very honest" information you would know what a joke Mr Leon and Andy are for thinking some of us are dumb enough to think this BS piece was enough..

I hope either he can forge Andy's signature on contracts and paychecks or that we have a new owner by the time those kids are old enough to reject lowball offers and we end up finding and training our opposition.

I think the realest issue is that Andrew Hauptman decided he wanted to be more like Peter Wilt than Philip Anschutz... And, lest you've forgotten how we felt "about" 6 years ago, we didn't like "Uncle Phil" very well either.
The things is, he's the Owner...so he can't actually be like that...so, he would need to find someone else to be PW2.0 ... But then, he couldn't be PW2.0 himself.
It's a conundrum, isn't it?

 

Maybe Andrew Hauptman could hire Peter Wilt to be the owner and then Hauptman could be PW2.0.
