Chris mentiond that Quill "is on the other side". Is that a given? I sure dont think so considering the guy cant stay healthy. I really think Armstrong is the best choice at left winger.

Evertime I see Klein, I think of that somewhat unknown actor who now plays the husband of Nia on "My Big Fat Greek Life".

You're talking about the guy that's been Adin on "Sex in the City" for about four years.

I agree with Quill on the left when he is healthy. No more of this saying you are at 100% crap when you are at 80 like last year. If he stays healthy he is my choice. Armstrong is good, but he doesn't have the ball skills at left mid that Quill does. Quill looked far better at the end of the season then Armstrong did in his strongest part of the season which was the first. Armstrong will be one the subs that comes on first, he is a great utility player.

No, John Corbett blew off the TV show. He's talking about the TV show.

    what's an "H.I. story"?

anyway, i enjoyed the piece. klein's always been one of my favorite wizards. i remember when he was in nats camp in san diego (in 2000?) and he was very kind when i asked him for an autograph. he's also unique, being such a big guy and still able to play the wing (unlike ralston and olsen, who are pipsqueaks, generally speaking). this makes him such an asset. i don't know if he would've made the WC '02 squad, but he would have made it close.

and john corbett's best role was BY FAR on northern exposure, where he first came to public light.

I think Armstrong is better playing in the middle, myself. I think Quill has better acceleration and speed as well as a better crosser (well he should be anyway). I think Armstrong has more technical skills and more creativity and flair.

Actually, I think John Corbett's best role would be as a target man for Klein's crosses.

I disagree, I think Armstrong certainly has better skill with the ball than Quill. I am not saying Quill is bad, I just think Armstrong is better.

Too many times Armstrong was asked to play the more defensive minded left side role. That is not his strong point, but in an attacking mode I would prefer Armstrong to Quill.

The good thing about this, is that they can push each other to stay on top of their game, a slip in form and they are replaced. Good healthy competition.

Totally agree, but I still think Quill will get the chance to make the position on the left wing his. And if he can bring back his for of 2000 and before I'd be satisfied.

No argument here. In fact I think Gansler prefers Quill there to Armstrong anyway. Despite my opinion ;)

I think Armstrong's versatility allows Gansler to put him on the bench and then bring him in wherever necessary. Which is a shame as I'd like to see him play the full 90 minutes.
