If he's not the best - he may be the busiest.

Interesting read. Nice to see some honesty from soemone being interviewed without the sugar-coating.

Amen to the honesty part, maybe he should get a high up postion in the MLS offices, then we might get more honesty from them.

I think you just explained why there is no affiliation between JK and MLS.

That article shows exactly why Klinsi has always been one of my favorite players.

I thought I remembered him playing in the '86 World Cup too, but I guess not.

I'm only adding to this thread because it hasn't been tainted with sensitive wimps complaing that JK didn't stick his tongue up LD's ass.We need more people like him in this country. Not afraid to tell it like it is.(We're not awesome, but we don't suck)

    PEACE

Along with Rivaldo and Maradona Jk is my all time favorite player and I am glad to hear anything about him or from him in terms of soccer.

The man is very smart and accomplished off the pitch as well as on it and I can only say he was spot on about the USA and the MLS, I wish he would have played a season with LA I would have moved out there just to watch him play.

It's about time someone with some credibility is honest about LD and the hype around him(he is the next Beckham in terms of decent skills but great mass market potential so therefore he gets great press when its not really deserved).

I think it's kinda funny that a true World Class player said that someone everyone is told is a World Class by the US Soccer fed and the MLS is afraid to play with the big boys in Germany.

Seems to me, Jc18star, that you're the one afraid to play with the big boys. Why are you hiding out on this thread, when the other threads on this topic are having real discussion -- at least as real a discussion as you can get on BS.

    Great article by Connolly.

One thing that struck me as funny was that JK said he stopped working out with the Galaxy because they kept asking him to sign and play with them.

I just have to wonder how many times they asked?
