Hello,,, does anyone post here? where is everybody? If my country had won the UEFA cup everyone would be talking trash for months!!! I want to learn some farsi so I can bug my Iranian friends on the baharloo forums...
Well we didn't win the UEFA cup equivalent so I guess that is why the trash talking is at a minimum. Plus most of Iranian post on Iranian soccer boards rather than Bigsoccer. I like this website for getting info on the US team mostly.
you guys should visit the other board I post on, It's pretty cool. There a little more activity there. if you want I will post the website for you guys. most of them use to post on the CNNSI board that was cancelled, theyre pretty cool guys and girls.
Again,,, Man, you guys have some good players. How come your team didn't go to the World Cup? In case you didn't know, Iran won the Indoor Football cup again for the 4th time. As Ali.B said 4 time indoor and 4 time outdoor champs now.
Re: Again,,, Thats what happens when you tie one too many times to should be 3 point games then loose the most important one, thus sending the all crappy Saudi Arabia to the WC so they can be crapped on again. Then sending us to a playoff with UAE and then the big one, Republic of Ireland. We won in Tehran 1-0, but lost the first leg 2-0 in Dublin, oh well with this great youth team, we should show promise going into the next 2 world cups and asian championships.
I didn't keep up with Iranian Football until I ran into the baharloo forums. www.forum.baharloo.com You guys are pretty hardcore when it comes to football but one thing I have noticed about Iranians is that you guys are a little to proud and tend to underestimate your opponents often. Some players also want to show off too much and that causes less teamwork and altimately disagreements and fights among the players. Italians are the same way. good job in the recent victories though. All you need is to involve more in tougher matches,, ie. some top European and South American National Teams.
