Good for the Fire and MLS. In fact, great for both. Now will the next expansion team want to go to Chicago?

    I like this quote:
"While pleased that the project is moving forward, Mayor Steve Landek said he considers construction to have started months ago.

"I think the official groundbreaking was when we bought property and started tearing everything down," he said.

The Mayor obviously doesn't understand the term ground breaking. :)

If they get their own ground they are welcome. This one is ours. They can build their own. :D

You laugh, but it's been suggested. I can't remember if it was Pumas or Atlas or some other Mexican club.

I doubt it has any legs at this point, though.

Soon the so called other major leagues will be using MLS as model on how to run a league with less money and a salary cap and still be around . NHL and NBA are you guys are listening. :D

Well if it does happen, hopefully they wont bring in a blatantly racists player policy like Chivas
