More to come, as I just did an interview with the Associated Press about Saturday's incident. I guess I should change the words under my name to "media whore" eh?
WHen can we expect the AP Article? and btw... "The fans are getting into it," Schelotto said, "but we need better referees." To control the crowd? "No," he said with a smile, "we just need better referees." this is why I live GBS7.
The comment from Guille...priceless. Good going HH. And by the way you guys were impressive tonight at the Open Cup game. Midweek game and while you weren't anywhere near full strength you still sounded good. I am not sure if this is where to post this but it is time for you guys to re-explore getting your chants and song lyrics out to the folks not in the section. I and the people I attend games with are singing and chanting as best we can but we can't always understand all the words in 130. The basic chants we can get but anything complicated we lose. And with the guys at the tunnel beginning to form up this could be a big help. If I need to post this somewhere else to get word out let me know.
Tim I think you can go to the Union site and download the song sheet. Print some out and hand them around your section. That's the best way you could help.
Blake was also on CSRN today, congrats to him and he did an excellent job on there. I put a link of it on my site. I'm going to bed. Was hoping to have a relaxing night after working 6-2 but had to battle over hidden Aryan symbols in Crewture all night. At least we won.
I've started to post an updated one a few days before each match on the pregame thread. (we'll often toss it new cheers such as the 'You Are My Rogers' song)
If it is a Nissan Xterra, I saw him driving one of those, but I thought it was just a regular plate...
