I agree with this. Ran into a few at a store before the game and was nothing but friendliness. Also in the stadium I had no problems at all with them. Don't like them or their team, but they were class acts in our city.

well, four matches and four losses in league or playoff action.. pretty clear you lot are the better side right now. Many of our players have much to learn before we take the next step.

Hopefully they paid attention in class, because we were schooled, pure and simple. And hopefully Sigi finally figured out Nyassi ain't ready for this level quite yet.

We walked over the the area that the Sounders were hanging out in the parking lot before the game. Once we reassured them we were friendly they were a hospitable group, offering us beer and burgers! Great fans and let's be honest, they helped bring out the passion in the Galaxy fans that was needed.

I hope one good thing comes out of the Sounder fans coming to our stadium and that is the fans go home and tell their FO how good they get treated in LA so when the LA fans go to their stadium we don't get treated like sh*t like we have been treated in the past. In Seattle the visting fans get put up in nose bleed seats and when they come here they get choice field level seats.

 

Relax. There are NO field level seats that are not already held by STHs. There is no conspiracy against visiting fans.

 

That is poor planning then. Either way it is kind of messed up to traveling fans. It's the same way at RBA. They put you way up in the corner on the second level.

 

Why is that messed up? If they can sell a ticket to every home game in advance, they'd be stupid not to do it. There's no guarantee visiting fans are going to show up.

 

Yup. We could easily stick them in the upper tier and reserve that corner for ACB or something.

 

It's messed up that we are able to make room in a good section for them and they can't for us. Don't forget that before Seattle we were the highest attended club.

I am not talking about holding a section for walk-ups. I am saying if we schedule a group event a month or two in advance, like we did for the NY game, we should get decent seats.

 

I wasn't talking about Seattle specifically. My anecdote was about NYRB. They sure as hell don't have the season ticket base that would force us up top.

Even in Seattle they could make a decent section GA and if there were traveling fans they would be there and if there aren't it would go to Seattle fans. Its bad planning. Plus how many season ticket holders do you need to watch you get stomped every year when the galaxy comes around?

 

Because I'm not in your forum telling your fans they shouldn't have a problem with how they were treated by galaxy FO.
