I 2nd that notion. Well done and congrats to the Mighty Canaries of Norfolk County. I know Norwich must be completely mad over the promotion.

just a note that FC Nantes of France also are called The Canaries and they also have the same colors as Norwich.

I reckon norwich will have a rough ride next year unless they do some shrewd dealings in the transfer market.

Do you reckon Norwich will stay up next year or just come straight back down because it's not unheard of a team coming up and staying up and looking comfortable like Middlesborough and Fulham have done.

    Congrats, congrats!

We'll have to wait and see who Norwich picks up over the summer. There will likely be some proven talent out there going for a lot less than it was a few years ago, especially if Leeds or Citeh get relegated.

I think, as others have stated, that a lot depends on what kind of help Norwich bring in. I read somewhere that they aren't interested in spending a lot of cash just to stay in the Premiereship. The board is more interested in maintaining the financial solvency of the club. I think that is a reasonable position considering the shaky future of some once "great" clubs.

Norwich has some good, quality players already so I think they have a pretty good chance of staying up even without doling out a bunch of cash. Also, wages and transfer fees aren't going to be quite so outlandish as they were last season. Who knows, with a couple of good free transfers Norwich might even take Arse-anal's title away next season, but we can only hope! :p

Honestly, I haven't followed Norwich very closely over the years, but they have a special place in my heart as they were the second English football club I discovered, after Spurs (who may end up replacing Norwich in the 1st Div. if they aren't careful!!!). And if I play my cards right (and save enough $$$) I may get to visit Carrow Rd. with a "relative of a friend" who has been a season ticket holder for years.

    GO CANARIES!!!

Middlesbrough stayed up cos they never should've gone down in the first place. They have gobs of money. No problems there.

Fulham, well, gobs of money again--and they still struggled until this season.

Norwich? Not much in the way of dosh--just hope for some shrewd dealings and some stellar mangement, and maybe they can do the Charlton. Or get lucky and do a Bradford. (First Premiership season Bradford, not the second Premiership season.)

well i just hope and wish that Norwich does not win the conference

because i made a bet couple of month ago that West Bromwich was going to win the division outright

i just hope that the waiting is worth fighting for

Yes, that would be nice. Not that there's some sort of unrequited enmity there, mind you...

I know nothing about Norwich, but they will have the coolest away kit in the EPL next season. The Lotus sponsored BRG long sleeve shirt with gold trim: you almost expect to see Jimmy Clark come flying over a crest at Brands Hatch...

What happened the year after wasn't bad either. So good that they can shove their two points ....

    Ahh, good times ;)

maybe they should do what west brom and wolves did and just take the money and run .
Spend a year in the premiership ,get experience ,take the cash and come back stronger the next time around.
