Re: Confundido en Catalunya ? Although they have had success in the Copa, I'm almost 100% sure they have never finished ahead of Barca in Liga. The best finish in the tables in the history of Espanyol is 3rd-last done with Clemente as manager in 1986-87 (Barca finished 2nd.) For the record, the best result against Barca was back in 1951 at the Sarria, where they won 6-0. The other notable result would be the 1957 Copa, which Barca won.
