Re: Anybody get a confirmation email yet? I know were dealing with teh Keystone Cops here, but their literature stated that we'd get a notice confirming RECEIPT of our orders within 2 days. Should I then not begin to worry if I don't receive e-mail confirmation until monday? I thought we were supposed to know by Wednesday, Thursday latest? Plus what are they going to do for me on Monday?

Re: Anybody get a confirmation email yet? That is true... US Soccer did say they would confirm within 2 days. What I left out of my post was the long scenario involving my fax being "sent" (I use that term very loosely, as there is some question to what if anything they received, hence my question to them). So, his response about contacting them on Monday was in regards to this. I believe the response from him stated "IF you do not hear from us...", implying that some WOULD hear from them. I just hope I am one of them.
Re: Anybody get a confirmation email yet? Just received my e-mail confirmation from US soccer. According to my fax report, my ticket request was sent at 3:05 PM CST. No guarantee of tickets obviously, but at least confirms that faxes were being received.
Re: Order Confirmation Received HOLY COW! Good for you. I was one of the early ones to get through on fax yesterday too, yet I haven't seen a confirmation so far. With as many issues as I had faxing (would get one or two pages through then it would hang up) I will really be sweating it until I do!!!
Re: Order Confirmation Received My fax went through at 12:25pm central time, so I would assume this puts me at like 90% chance of getting tickets. My number is also just a little bit over 1000, which I think means they started counting at 1000. That would make a lot of sense for 25 minutes after the lines opened.
I'm wondering whether the confirmation number depends on which category requested: Cat 1 - 1000s, Cat 3 - 3000s?
So much for that theory. My confirmation is in the low 1000s. But I don't know whether that was from my FedEx package or some early attempt to fax that I didn't receive confirmation on from my machine (broken line, etc.). I tell ya, this whole thing introduces huge amounts of uncertainty into what is a very uncertain process to begin with.
I should also add that I found my confirmation email in my junk mailbox. I use a spam filtering program and it recognized the confirmation email as a spam. Some of you may want to check your junk mailbox too!
someone on the yanksingermany list got a confirmation # in the 5000 range for a 6:30pm fax. this is making me nervous all over again.
Re: Anybody get a confirmation email yet? Ahh you guys are lucky , my fax didnt even go through and I had to send mine overnight , maybe mine got picked up first , or close to first
