We are doing major clean up at work and we have a lot of shredding to do, and I was wandering..... Are they going to allow us to bring confetti into 101??? 'Cause if they are, I can probably get a couple of big bags for opening night... Does anyone know?? Should I get it or not?
Confetti There was some talk about this on the Yahoo groups message board ESC had running for a while. We discussed a little bit about maybe getting Metro Front Office to help us getting around security. Things like streamers, confetti, and banners could be brought in through the back door, thus giving us a break from the security hogs. Ever since 9-11 this is been a big problem. Anyway, the message board has gotten quiet over at yahoo. If anyone has a contact # over at metro, maybe we could get this ball rolling. I'd be happy to take charge of this, just need maybe a name + number to start everything off. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
they do...if it's big enough they give ya a hassle though. I'm just trying to find a way around security. Thats all.
it would be coo if they would let in trash bags full of confetti like he was saying then drop it from it from above...but i guess no one wants to go through the hassle of cleaning up the mess. also tp could replace streamers but who knows if they let it in as well....streamers arent that cheap
can www.empiresc.com get a messageboard, and not use that stupid yahoo thingy? and when does the page get updated??
Can't comment on security, but there is a point from a year or two ago that should probably be brought up again here. If you want to do this sort of thing, please use your head. Specifically, if it's raining, find other means of support. There was a game where it rained, TONS of confetti were thrown, and it ended up clogging up the drains underneath our section, which Metro staff ended up having to clean up due to Giants' Stadium's anger. Not exactly the most appropriate thank you we could give to a team that (let's face it) has worked to get us a lot of privileges not many fans in any sport enjoy. Be smart about it.
