Ibanez has been unbelievable every game so far this season. Same can be said for Lorenzo. Im loving how this team plays as a unit and seeing Tammy go over and defend Zaniolo was exactly the grinta we need back in our squad.
One thing you cant take away from Byran. From the 20 30 yard mark outside the box, he can hit a ball. Rui is a beast. No idea why some were questioning his arrival in the summer.
You know what they say about stats and lies. Its not the be all and end of of buying. He passed the eyeball test with flying colours and was a fit for Jose's tactics, international class and was one of the best keepers in England. Karsdorp is continuing to pick those passes. He will thrive again this year. Nice to have a striker who can head the ball. Tammy again very unlucky. This team is making me excited for Roma games again.

I don't know, last week I said that we're set at the RB position but after the Fiorentina game I have my doubts about Karsdorp's defensive qualities. Regarding the game: I'm very happy about how well Abraham has found his way into the team and how he's being appreciated by the tifosi. Don't need a Schick 2.0 situation where a very talented striker underachieves due to his price tag and high expectations.
Zaniolo must be really taking on Jose's pressing instructions. He was always half assed about it before. This game he is putting himself about and closing down balls he has no business winning. Whole group buy into this and the season could be far better than we imagined.
Early days, but I already like this team so much more than what we’ve seen in recent years. There isn’t some ideology or style of play being forced, and players aren’t being pushed into roles they aren’t comfortable in. It’s just simple and effective play, with a pretty clear game plan that everyone seems to understand.
Good performance, good goals and good win, with Rui producing a couple of fine saves when needed too. Team spirit looks good. Lets hope it stays that way for a long time. Early signs this season are mostly positive, but it's early days. Workrate has been excellent and general organisation is clearly much improved. Very happy with Tammys obvious enthusiasm and efforts so far. Not that he's the type to lack confidence but I think that goal for Zaniolo will give him a little needed boost. If Vina is the unspectacular but solid and consistent player my early impressions suggest, then that's just fine with me. Ibanez' performances have been vastly better than the shit show we saw at times last season. Wouldn't be hard though to be honest. Much tougher games ahead and a much bigger sample size of games needed to see where we're really at, but so far I think you'd have to be pretty content with what we've seen.
